Susan Rice, Samantha Powers Get Top Positions

From the Associated Press:

AP source: Donilon resigns as security adviser

By JULIE PACE | June 5, 2013

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama’s top national security adviser Tom Donilon is resigning and will be replaced by U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, marking a significant shakeup to the White House foreign policy team…

Note how the AP kept Susan Rice out of their headline. How many people even know who Tom Donilon is? Unless they have followed the details of the Benghazi scandal.

Donilon has been a key foreign policy adviser to Obama since he first took office. But the 58-year-old had been expected to depart sometime this year, with Rice seen as the likely candidate to replace him…

Rice’s new post as national security adviser does not require Senate confirmation.

This is nothing but Obama’s poke in the eye to the Congressional Republicans, and to the American public in general.

Obama will also name Samantha Power, a human rights expert and former White House adviser, to replace Rice as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Power left the White House earlier this year, though she was considered the president’s likely pick to move to the U.N. should Rice be promoted to the White House…

This is Obama once again scratching his nose with his middle finger towards Israel. (See below, for a memory refresh on Ms. Powers’s history of anti-Semitism.)

The official insisted on anonymity in order to discuss the personnel changes before they were publicly announced…

Rice, who first started working for Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign, has a close relationship with the president and many of his advisers. She’s known for being outspoken on human rights issues…

More precisely LGBT issues.

[A]nd also pushed for a more interventionist strategy in Libya.

Which is why she should have been given the job of replacing Ambassador Stevens there. And set up in Benghazi.

In any case, here is some background on Samantha Power via Discover the Networks:

Samantha Power

Power has a long record of antipathy towards Israel. In 2001 she attended the United Nations’ World Conference Against Racism (in Durban, South Africa), even after the U.S. had withdrawn most of its diplomatic participation once it became apparent that the gathering would give prominence to anti-American, anti-Israel, and anti-Semitic perspectives.

Just months later, during a 2002 interview with Harry Kreisler, director of the Institute for International Studies at UC Berkeley, Power said that even if it meant “alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import” (i.e., Jewish Americans), the United States should stop investing “billions of dollars” in “servicing Israel’s military” and invest the money instead “in the new state of Palestine.” Moreover, she accused Israel of perpetrating "major human-rights abuses" and "war crimes." …

In her 2004 review of Noam Chomsky’s book Hegemony or Survival, Power agreed with many of Chomsky’s criticisms of U.S. foreign policy and expressed her own concerns about what she called the “sins of our allies in the war on terror,” lumping Israel together with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Russia, and Uzbekistan. She called Chomsky’s work “sobering and instructive.” …

In a 2007 interview, Power said that America’s relationship with Israel “has often led foreign policy decision-makers to defer reflexively to Israeli security assessments, and to replicate Israeli tactics…” The United States, she explained, had brought terrorist attacks upon itself by aping Israel’s violations of human rights….

In early 2008 Power served as a senior foreign-policy advisor to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. She was forced to resign from the campaign in March, however, after it was learned that she had referred to Obama’s Democrat rival, Hillary Clinton, as “a monster” whose modus operandi was “deceit.”

Even a blind squirrel…

On July 4, 2008, Power married law professor Cass Sunstein, whom she had met while working on the Obama campaign…

In March 2011, Power was instrumental in persuading Obama to authorize military intervention in Libya, to prevent President Moammar Qaddafi’s forces from killing the rebels who were rising up against his regime at that time…

Of course in all of this she perfectly matches the views of her boss, Barack Obama.

I was hoping Rice would end up with Christopher Stevens’ job in Benghazi. Now that the “offensive youtube video” has been handled, she should be perfectly safe there.

No remorse or penance. More evil power. There will come a season for justice from the all powerful. And all the “but, didn’t I didn’t I do this for the people and didn’t I do that for the people?
…and they will be told they were never known or heard of by their maker.

  3. untrainable says:

Let’s just say it. The entirety of the Obama administration belongs behind bars. Every lackey in the administration, and every stinking Obamaton in the press should be ousted from their current positions and given the daunting task of breaking big rocks into little ones.

Maybe not a reward for keeping her mouth shut. Rice most likely threatened to spill the beans if she didn’t get her way and she is going to climb quickly. She probably has all her ducks in a row since she is known to go around saying “nobody better mess with me”.

Can’t wait for 2016 Michelle as potus and dealing with Rice. Thugs

    How ironic….

Samantha Powers- Sunstein, a hater of all things Israel or jewish who married a self hating Jew, will become our ambassador to the most anti-jewish organization on the planet. An organization at which the US has been the only thing standing between a pack of blood thirsty hounds and a second holocaust.

Susan Rice(the Jamaican), a loyal but proven liar about a topic she had no real knowledge of, will be adviser about topics she has no known expertise in. “I tink she keep secrets mon”.

    What a regime!

      “Susan Rice (the Jamaican)….”

Noyzmakr, it’s been a long time since I’ve recognized anybody in the higher echelons of Washington DC who was a real American-American. Almost everybody in the regime is either an immigrant or child of an immigrant or a hyphenated-something-or-other.

And so sure and arrogant are they in their assumption of their right to rule us, in their privileges as conquerors, in their droit du seigneur, their jus primae noctis, that they have the unmitigated gall to preach to us about our law, rights, heritage, history, and traditions.

When Tigellinus-Holder was appointed, I thought to myself, well, hallelujah, at least he’s a fellow American, that’s something. Then I found out his parents were from Barbados.

      That just leaves Clarence Thomas.

By the way, there has not been a conservative Southerner on the Supreme Court since Justice James C. McReynolds retired in 1941. There’s not even a single Protestant on the Supreme Court anymore, for crying out loud.

There are a handful of real American-Americans in Congress, mostly Southerners –– Trey Gowdy, Rand Paul, Jeff Sessions, a few others. But that’s about it.

    • Noyzmakr says:

I did know about there being no Protestants on the SCOTUS but had no idea about the rest. I had taken notice that almost everyone in this regime seems to be of mixed race. Liza Jackson, Susan Rice, Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, The Kenyan and many, many more.

Not that it means anything but you would think the Tower of Babel was just a few decades ago.

I once worked for a man who was a huge liberal. One day he pointed out a young lady to me who appeared to be about 25% Asian, 25% Caucasian, 25% African and the rest a mix of many nationalities. she had blazing green eyes, high cheek bones and straight black hair. She was quite a beautiful young lady. He said, “One day, everyone on Earth will look like her.” I told him, “Not on account of my actions.”

God separated us because he didn’t want us to to get anymore bright ideas of overthrowing his power again. Liberals have been striving to mix us all together ever since. Multiculturalism anyone?

You don’t know your Old Testament if you think that sounds racist. The story of the Tower of Babel is one instance of God separating people by race/nations for our own good.

In Genesis 22 we read the story of God asking Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. In verse 2, God commands Abraham to “Take now thy son, THY ONLY SON, Isaac…” and in verse 12 where he again states; “seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, THY ONLY SON from me.” Now we know from Genesis 16 that Abraham slept with Hagar, his wife’s Egyptian slave, and she gave birth to Ishmael. So why does God not recognize this child as Abrahams son? because didn’t believe God when he promised a son and he and Sarah took a shortcut.

God hates disbelief and he wanted a pure race in which to bring salvation to the world. He states these separations in many places. Exodus 33:16, Ezra 10:11, ect…

I probably went too far in my explanation but many people have read these stories and I guarantee most of them never noticed what I just pointed out about Isaac. Most people who bother to read the bible, read right past what’s being said. They don’t really comprehend the meaning of it. That’s why they think they have to be baptized, or take communion to be saved. Nothing could be further from the truth.

All of the bible up until about Acts Chapter 9 is totally jewish. For jews, by jews. Even Jesus states as much in Matthew 10:5-6, Matt. 15:24 and many other verses. But once the jews rejected their King, God sent Paul to the Gentiles. Acts 9:15. Read Paul. The Apostles, even seven years after pentacost were still in Jerusalem waiting for the return of Jesus as King. they weren’t out spreading the gospel around the world. See Acts 8:1 and then read Gal. 2:9 where they made a deal for Paul to go to gentiles and the James, Peter, John and the other apostels would go to the jews. They shook hands on it. Even Peter, in 2 Peter 3:15-16 comes around to that way of thinking, realizing Paul, being the apostle to the gentiles, was revealing God’s secrets. That being that even the heathen, gentiles, would inheirit and gain salvation. Only one way…1 Cor. 15:1-4.

Wow! That just spilled out. As you can tell, I’m passionate about the subject.

On the bright side who will believe a single word Susan Rice says.
