Right heykev…and everybody knows what you say is true.

Kinda makes you wonder why the entire world is sitting on their hands, doesn’t it?

The only countries I can think of that would welcome a nuclear cataclysm are Muslim. Of course, they already live in the Dark Ages, and it certainly wouldn’t diminish the ability of the mullah’s who survive to control the population, would it? And it probably hasn’t escaped their attention that once mankind is reduced to swords and fists again, the people most willing to sever heads will rule the world.

Pro ~ if it’s via a Taliban, Pakistan, India, Iran or Israel dropping Nukes were screwed. Because were so dependent on mid east oil, it will cause such hyper-inflation, job losses and every other unimaginable consequences. Just look at our food supply. we are getting food from all over this great country. Seldom does it come from our back yards or anywhere close to us. It will as you say, throw us back to where these Muslims want to go. . .the Dark Ages.

Pakistan is where civilization will end.

If you think the Obama Depression is as bad as it gets. If you think the coming perfect storm of inflation, unemployment, government control, and stifling of constitutional freedoms is as bad as it can get, think again.

Pakistan is where cvilization will end.

After Rome self immolated in the 4th century, Europe was in chaos for at least 9 centuries. Life expectancies fell to under 40 years. The Black Death twice wiped out 1/3 of the population. 99% of Europe was effectively in slavery. Travel between communities was only possible with armed guards, and then still dangerous. 99% of the wealth went to 1/100th of 1% of the population. Education for any but the aristocracy and religious elite was unheard of. Peasants were forced to die in unending wars between fuedal loards. More women died in childbirth than at any point in human history. The concept of liesure was unknown. Mankind’s fate was thought to be to toil for 35 years and to die.

This will pale in comparison to the destruction and pain on earth when nuclear war breaks out between Pakistan and India, or between Iran and Israel.

But all nations are equal. It isn’t “fair” to favor one over another. The Taliban is no different that India. Israel is no different than Iran. And the United States is an evil empire, that above all others, needs to be destroyed.

And as the Taliban inches toward acquiring the nuclear capability of Pakistan, Barack Obama rails aganst the Swine flu and health care in America for people who already have free health care. He fans hatred toward businessmen while he himself lives in luxury unknown to any emporer in history. And he poses without a shirt for magazines that claim to report the news.

We in this country MUST be stupid. Here we’ve been worried that Iran will blackmail us with the threat of using nuclear weapons on us once they get them, while Zardari uses their possession of nuclear weapons to peacfully extort money from us.

Why didn’t France think of this?

I’m reminded of Robert Heinlein, dean of American science fiction. In The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress, the ‘Federated Nations’ had shock troops that were war-tasked, as contrasted to a member nation’s defensive military personnel. These highly trained aggressive ultimate-warriors were the Federated Nation’s Peace Dragoons, tasked as part of the F.N. Peace Navy.

Peace. Code word for stupidity.

Politically, Heinlein’s epic reads like it came from today’s headlines.

Peace with criminally insane medieval (whatever they are) is not possible. It’s like trying to teach a pig how to whistle …. it wastes your time and irritates the pig.

I don’t know why Lil’ Barry hasn’t suggested that Zardari to do what he is doing here in the US……Just start letting the printing presses run 24/7 and print up whatever money he needs. Why be concerned with devaluation of the Pakistan’s currency? It’s not like Zardari is going to be in power forever, what with the Taliban on the door step or a military coup just around the corner.

Now if Zardari really needs cash that bad, then he should have Pakistan offer to sell carbon credits to offset carbon footprints of gullible libs around the world. He’d be knee deep in the moolah before he knew it.
