Pastor: Korean Hostage was Killed for Refusing to Convert to Islam
The youth pastor who was leading the group of 23 South Korean aid volunteers in Afghanistan was killed for refusing to convert to Islam, the head pastor of the church revealed after the final 19 former hostages arrived home.

The youth pastor who was leading the group of 23 South Korean aid volunteers in Afghanistan was killed for refusing to convert to Islam, the head pastor of the church revealed after the final 19 former hostages arrived home.
“Among the 19 hostages who returned on the second (of September), some were asked by the Taliban to convert and when they rejected, they were assaulted and severely beaten,” reported Park Eun-jo, pastor of the hostages’ home church, Saemmul Presbyterian Church in Bundang, just south of the South Korean capital Seoul.
“I heard from the hostages that they were threatened with death,” he added, according to Christian Today Korea. “Especially it is known that the reason Pastor Bae Hyung-kyu was murdered was because he refused the Taliban’s demand to convert.”
A hospital chief also said on Monday that some of the five South Korean men freed from captivity last week reported being beaten by their Taliban abductors for refusing to convert to Islam and for protecting their female colleagues.
“We found through medical checks that some male hostages were beaten,” Cha Seung-gyun told reporters, according to Agence France-Presse.
“They said they were beaten at first for refusing to take part in Islamic prayers or for rejecting a demand to convert.”
Meanwhile, medical examinations showed no signs that the last 12 women were raped and none reported being sexually harassed despite reports from the first two released hostages – both women – who said they were repeatedly raped by their captors, according to an ABC News report on Saturday.
Mirajuddin Pathan, the governor of Ghazni province, had also said he received reports that “various Taliban commanders were fighting over the women hostages” and that “[t]hey were abused over and over“, according to ABC News.
Although Park had heard that some of the female hostages were in danger of being raped, he said they were able to “overcome the crisis” through strong resistance.
Furthermore, at least two male hostages were beaten or threatened with death when they refused to leave behind female hostages, according to hospital chief Cha.
While all the men were said to have fully recovered and now show no external signs of their beating, Cha reported that six or seven female hostages show symptoms of insomnia and depression and continue to worry about their lives even after returning to Korea. Moreover, some of the patients are still suffering from shock after hearing about the deaths of two of their male colleagues.
The hospital chief predicts that the former hostages will need about two weeks of treatment…
Horrible. But not surprising, with these Muslim monsters.
But this too will be ignored by our watchdog media.

Leads to an interesting comparison. One has to kill himself and murder others in order to receive his reward of 70 virgins, the other submits his life, even unto death and receives a welcoming of “Well done, good and faithful servant” by the Almighty God. I believe the problem (one among many) with these people is they have no idea what true honor is all about.

Nor do they have an understanding of the Christian God.
We are his CHILDREN, we call him FATHER. He loves us, even when He rebukes us. He forgives us when we ask. We can choose to leave Him if we wish (free will). He is merciful and He is Love.
Islam sees Allah as a slavemaster and everyone subject to his will and wrath. Allah is not compassion, is not love, and is not peace. Allah is violence and hatred of women and non-believers.
It is a tragedy, but the distinctions are clear.

I have decided that I, too, if faced with death or conversion, will die rather than renounce my faith.
EQ, some simple math (at the risk of being called an armchair chest-thumper):
I am told that 1% of the population reads blogs such as this.
US population =300 million people.
1% of that = 3 million people.
Let’s be really conservative here and say that 1/3 of that number are conservatives (S&L’ers and the like).
That amounts to 1 million people.
Look at the membership here. How many are either: veterans, ex-servicemen, people who like to shoot?
What do you reckon? Half? (it’s likely more than that, but we’re being conservative).
So now we’re down to 500,000 people. Let’s weed out the chest-thumpers and wimps -again we’ll cut things in half (and again, we’re being very conservative in these numbers).
So now we’ve got 250,000 armed, very tough people.
In military terms, that’s 25 divisions of riflemen.
Islamists vs westerners invariably equals dead Islamists.
So don’t be too ready to do the “Masada” thing.
Them who wish to refute my numbers will find an attentive audience.
Oh yeah -the point of this- don’t ever, ever, EVER let them (whoever them is) take away your second amendment rights.

I’m going to grad school and, if financial aid for graduate students works the same as undergraduate, I’ll have a pretty healthy sum of money left when all is said and done.
After paying off our debt, putting some away for savings/vacation, and using some for necessary purchases, I’m getting a handgun, the proper and necessary equipment, and training.
And if Hillary wins in ‘08…I’ll be getting it a whole lot faster than anticipated.
Believe me - I am not ready to lay down and die. If we don’t win, I’m going out with a fight and in a blaze of glory. But I’m going to fight.

True, they went to Afghanistan, even after the Government warned them not to go. They went, the Korean government ended paying around $20 Million to the Taliban to get these Koreans released.
The Korean government was not very happy with this group, many Koreans were not happy with this group, because it ended up the Korean government had to bargain with the Taliban. Hence the Taliban now has about $20 Million for more guns, more explosives, and more recruiting and training monies. Yes, the Bible does tell us to love our enemies; though I doubt if it meant giving them $20 Million to fund their terrorism.

From your post, I detect the premise that you don’t believe the MSM is dominated by liberal secularists whom refuse to offend Muslims?
If that isn’t your premise, then perhaps would you be so kind as to post just one link from an MSM news outlet that alludes to the fact that Pastor Bae Hyung-kyu was murdered was because he refused the Taliban’s demand to convert.
Just one please, from CNN, MSNBC, AP, Reuters, ABC, CBS, hell even the Maui News or Haleakala Times would suffice.
