I would guess Obama’s just trying to avoid sounding like W by saying we’re gonna have to tough it out. But even his BFF’s in the MSM couldn’t swallow the “moderate Taliban” crap. maybe ooboomboo meant to say “Progressive Taliban.”
The definition according to the Omerica’s new Obamo’s World Dictionary is:

I would like a serious definition and characterization of what a moderate Taliban is all about. Do they use camels instead of jeeps for transportation? Do they prefer rocks to bullets? Do they like to negotiate and adhere to treaties? Do they honor the rights of those who are not Taliban to live next to them without being blown up?

Seriously … the whole idea is laughable.

Since he promised to bring all our American soldiers home, if elected, he did not see any reason to study the terrorist problem, while too busy running for office..

Why is it that Obama can’t see that “moderate Taliban” is an oxymoron? Geez, even the terrorists will correct him on that one. And the left – wing media would have likely never voiced concern over Obama’s statements had the terrorists not ridiculed the idea themselves.

Something tells me we’ve left our national security in the hands of a buffoon. Another possibility – one that makes me cringe – is that Obama knows better, but chooses to downplay actions of terrorists to the American people. But for what purpose?

The Moron’s brilliant strategy has widespread potential. Imagine:

= dismantling the Mafia by co-opting the moderate capos
- de-fusing the drug cartels by chatting up the drug lords with less than 100 deaths to their credit
- tricking N. Korea by supporting the moderate political elements there
- solving the Iran situation by supporting the mullah’s who promise to de-arm once Israel is destroyed

the possibilities are endless.
