Teachers Union Video Has Rich Peeing On Poor

From the California Federation of Teachers:

New CFT animated video explains economic inequality, need for wealthy to pay fair share of taxes:

Tax the rich: An animated fairy tale, is narrated by Ed Asner, with animation by award-winning artist Mike Konopacki, and written and directed by Fred Glass for the California Federation of Teachers.

The 8 minute video shows how we arrived at this moment of poorly funded public services and widening economic inequality. Things go downhill in a happy and prosperous land after the rich decide they don’t want to pay taxes anymore. They tell the people that there is no alternative, but the people aren’t so sure. This land bears a startling resemblance to our land.

After you watch this video, click here to share with friends, and send an email to your elected officials to let them know they need to restore higher federal tax rates on the wealthy so that we may once more enjoy properly funded public services.

And here is the full video:

(The peeing starts around 2:55 in.)

This is the kind of bald-faced anti-capitalist propaganda that you used to only find in the pages of Pravda or the Daily Worker. And it is from the California Federation Of Teachers union. These people are teaching our children.

And this was posted after Californians (foolishly) voted to raise their taxes, via ‘Proposition 30,’ in order to fund education. They still want more money. And never mind the fact that the California Federation of Teachers, being a union (an affiliate of the AFL-CIO), pays no taxes. Zero.

But it would seem that the teachers unions will never be happy until there are no more evil ‘rich people.’ Except for good rich people like Ed Asner and their union bosses, of course.

By the way, the perennial radical leftist agitator, Mr. Asner, is reported to be worth several million dollars. How much does he pay in taxes?

I can’t wait for the video that depicts Mitt Romney decorating his Christmas tree with homeless-man boots !

  2. GetBackJack

That would be Union Officials making $200k a year for strategizing how to destroy the minds of young kids?

And a rich white-hispanic man peeing on a bunch of minorities no less.

      My thoughts exactly.

The only “rich” guy is white. His success without government sponging makes him evil to all of the minorities and losers pictured beneath him, who blame their shortcomings on him.

      The propaganda continues.

Good catch, Banned. I’m sick of people believing that they are poor because some other person is wealthy. The poor are poor because they make bad decisions, not because somebody else made good decisions. A 6th grade dropout is poor because he’s a dropout, not because a hedge fund manager went to school for 7 years.

On a related note, where can I buy stock in “Fat Profits Inc.”? Perhaps the teacher’s Union would like to add that to their retirement portfolio as well.

“…poorly funded public services and widening economic inequality.” Riiiiiight. These public services are being funded at an unsustainably high rate and the fools still want more. The “rich” are paying 70% of the tax burden. It seems to me that the “rich” are the ones being peed on. When exactly are the 47% going to start paying anything, let alone their fair share?

Does anybody else feel like they’re living in a powder keg?

At the end of the day, it comes down to the “poor” wanting the “rich” to feel the pain they have afforded themselves due ot their bad choices and thus, their idea of justice is to punish those who indierctly remind them of their lot in life and why they got there. Like many, I was taught, “Don’t worry about them, you worry about you and do what is necessary to improve. If you’re good at something, strive to be the best at it. If you are not very good at something, strive to improve…watch what the others who ARE good at it and how they do it and learn from them.”

Such wisdom is seldom dispensed by adults anymore. Or, even peers.

But it’s testimony to the rise of the victim society.

      *sigh*

Take every dollar bill in this country and devide them equally among every legal citizen. After 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or 1 year some would have more and some would have less.

I belong to the poor class but I do not support taxing the rich more.

A flat rate tax on any income – rich or poor – would be fair and NOBODY could complain.

    • That’s right. Even 1 minute later, someone would lose their dollar, gamble it away, trade it away, have it stolen from them, invest it and make more or less etc.

By simply living, you interact with people, MAKE CHOICES, and with that comes with unequal thinking, unequal outcomes, and unequal situations. It’s call L*I*F*E.

The rich get richer, and the poor get children,
and the the rich get taxed to pay for more
children, and the beat goes on, the beat goes
    on. (apologies to Cher)

  7. The commentator, Ed Asner is very rich so I guess he should be pissing on himself. What a moron. This guy Asner gets rich off of capitalism and now is railing against it and waving the socialist, Obama flag. What a full blown hypocrite this loon is!

  8. WHY ON EARTH aren’t conservatives DOING THE SAME THING! Flood YouTube with cartoons about political situations, and mock the liberals for who they are and what they believe in.

Conservatives have the means, but no ability to put them in motion. They just waste their time thinking elections will solve their problems. You have to win the Psy-Ops war, and that is by using social media to get your point across, G*d knows the liberals are on the ball about this.

I need to be in charge of the Republican party, and get this establishment dinosaurs out of there. Do they even know what the internet is? Are they aware that people have computers in their own homes now, and can access information? Sheesh!
