Tens Of Thousands Of Illegal Alien ‘Children’ Flood US

From Reuters:

Waves of immigrant minors present crisis for Obama, Congress

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Tens of thousands of children unaccompanied by parents or relatives are flooding across the southern U.S. border illegally, forcing the Obama administration and Congress to grapple with both a humanitarian crisis and a budget dilemma.

Poor Obama. Why do these things keep happening to him? This certainly can’t be the result of his (illegal) executive order giving amnesty to children who can pass for being under the age of 31. (No documentation is required, of course.)

An estimated 60,000 such children will pour into the United States this year, according to the administration, up from about 6,000 in 2011.

So it’s up ten times since 2011? Remember how those who predicted that Obama’s executive order would have this effect were mocked by the news media and the rest of the Democrats? But don’t worry. But don’t worry. The same thing won’t happen with adults after Obama grants amnesty to them, too.

Now, Washington is trying to figure out how to pay for their food, housing and transportation once they are taken into custody.

The flow is expected to grow. The number of unaccompanied, undocumented immigrants who are under 18 will likely double in 2015 to nearly 130,000 and cost U.S. taxpayers $2 billion, up from $868 million this year, according to administration estimates.

What is the problem? Illegal aliens are a boon to the economy. After all, they just come here to work and to make a better life.

The shortage of housing for these children, some as young as 3, has already become so acute that an emergency shelter at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, has been opened and can accommodate 1,000 of them, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in an interview with Reuters…

We should turn all of our military bases into shelters for illegal aliens. After all, why bother having a military if you aren’t even going to defend your borders.

The minors flooding over the border are often teenagers leaving behind poverty or violence in Mexico and other parts of Central America such as Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala…

Except they aren’t leaving poverty and violence behind. They are bringing it with them.

"This is a humanitarian crisis and it requires a humanitarian response," Senate Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski said in an interview. The Maryland Democrat, a former social worker, has likened the flood of unaccompanied children to the "boat people" of past exodus movements…

If Ms. Mikulski is a buffoon (or worse) if she can’t recognize the difference between people fleeing a murderous Communist regime and illegal aliens who are pouring into our country because it’s a great way to get welfare.

I prefer to think of it as 60,000 acts of love.

And next year there’ll be 130,000 more acts of love.

And the year after that … ad infinitum.

    It’s nice to be loved.

  2. I want to see the 3 year old who walked from Honduras to Texas unaccompanied. I thought adult illegals were having trouble making it through the wastelands alive.
