Reminds me of the morbid joke a few years back about how Dan Quayle was Bush’s life insurance. Surely no one would want to have Quayle as president!

Seriously, it is a scary proposition if something was to happen to President Obama. Senator Byrd is a former card carrying member of the KKK that didn’t truly renounce the views until in office for nearly 35 years. And you’ve got Pelosi before you get to Byrd. How did the Republicans possibly lose the leadership of Congress to these two?
