The ‘Clinton News Network’ Does It Again
Apparently, CNN’s latest efforts for their Democrat masters involved stacking the Republican debate with questions from full-time Democrat activists.
According to internet research as compiled by Michelle Malkin and others, they so far include:
“Concerned Undecided Mom” LeeAnn Anderson, who is an activist for the John Edwards-endorsing United Steelworkers union.
“Concerned Undecided Log Cabin Republican” David Cercone, who is an avowed Barack Obama supporter.
“Concerned Undecided Young Person” “Journey,” who is an avowed John Edwards supporter.
“Concerned Undecided Young Farmer” (from Manhattan Beach, CA) Ted Faturos, who is a former intern for Democrat Congresswoman Jane Harman.
“Concerned Undecided Young Black Man” David McMillan, who is an avowed Republican hater and John Edwards supporter.
And lastly but not leastly, this mother of all ringers, “Concerned Undecided Retired General” Keith H. Kerr:
Mr. Kerr is in fact a top Hillary Clinton supporter who is even on her Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered “steering committee.” (Which, as we noted previously, is headed by Hillary’s Wellesley roommate, Eldie Acheson.)
Mr. Kerr is also a member of the Veterans and Military Retirees for Hillary Committee.
Of course CNN knew all of this. Indeed, Mr. Kerr has appeared on the network before.
Moreover, it’s clear that the General got very special treatment from CNN. He not only asked his question via YouTube (how many generals use YouTube?), but he was flown in from California so as to be in the audience.
In fact, Mr. Kerr was conveniently seated up front so near the stage that Mr. Cooper could hand him a microphone to continue his political diatribe.
Obviously CNN knew what they were doing. They just hoped the audience wouldn’t catch on.
But thanks to the internet and Bill Bennett, Anderson Cooper (don’t ask, don’t tell) was forced to come clean:
Though one suspects that if Mr. Bennett had not raised the issue on live television it would have never been mentioned by any Mr. Cooper at anyone at CNN.
But of course by the time the admission was made most of the viewers had tuned out and Mr. Kerr’s objectives had been accomplished.
As so far there is still no acknowledgement from Mr. Cooper or anyone at CNN about the other “Concerned Undecided” questioners.
Mind you, this is the self-same Mr. Cooper who likes to go on about “Keeping Them Honest.”
It is to laugh.

I think there was one other Democratic plant—-John McCain. It is a shame–when he is good he is very very good, and when he is bad—man, does he suck.

There was also a question - actually just someone encouraging - Ron Paul to make an Independent run for President. Of course the DNC-CNN would love this to take votes away from the Republicans.
Also note how CNN allowed the General to show up and make a gay advocacy speech. I thought they were just supposed to ask a question.
It seemed obvious to me watching the debate that CNN was doing there level best to make the Republicans look bad. Certainly not a surprise.

I couldn’t watch the debate last nignt. Man eating corn, man being a parody of the VP. Where is the seriousness of electing a president that must lead us duing what could be the most dangerous times in history? And CNN seems to get themselves in deep kim chee whether it’s repubs or dhimmis debating. Does anyone watch these asshats any more? And if so, why?

A typical cnn stunt. I would not participate in any cnn debate. It was a set-up pure and simple. They let that retired general go on and on. Sad,but probably very few people were watching.

If you are in need of an emetic, check out the New York Times editorial on the debate:
Paging the Lesser of 8 Evils - New York Times

Not one mention of the stacked questions. Not even in their definitive report on the event, where they “surround the story,” as is their wont:
G.O.P. Rivals Exchange Jabs in Testy Debate - New York Times
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11.....38;emc=rss
Isn’t that odd? With them being the “Paper Of Record,” and all.

Low Ratings, CNN stages a debate and no one tunes in. Sounds like a path to success.
I have a feeling that with these staged debates and the string of Anti-Iraq War Films flopping the LEFT is going to lose big in 2008.
DEMS and their friends in the media are squandering whatever goodwill they gained in 2006, trust me it was not much.

If some of the questioners were plants, there’s no doubt that quite a few of them were from another planet. The kind of people who spend a lot of time in their rooms alone at the computer. I imagine most of the candidates felt a bit degrded by the whole experience.
The general who asked the question about don’t ask, don’t tell came across as a bit eccentric, to put it charitably. I liked Duncan Hunter’s answer on that subject. He and Tancredo seemed the most genuine throughout the night.

Let’s file this one under D for Duh!
SG - I saw a different outrage last night that we should focus on - “Do You Believe Every Word IN THIS BOOK”.
This wasn’t a question. IT WAS A DARE & the candidates caved on it - including Huckabee.
I will email you the correct answer had RB been asked that question.
Enjoy The Day - watch your step.

Referring to the Bible, I assume?

There was a debate on CNN last night?
I guess I must have missed it…I was more interested in watching SVU and CI than in watching Anderson Cooper try to hide a pro-RAT ambush.
If the Republican candidates aren’t bright enough to steer clear of ANYTHING set up by CNN, then not a one of them has the brains to be president.

I emailed this to SG….I was furious with that DOPE who kept thrusting The Bible in the camera with “Do you believe every word IN - THIS - BOOK!?” Reminded me of “Don’t Tase Me Bro!” for cryin out loud. So here’s the Right Answer (if RB were on the podium last night):
“Well…. I suppose that depends on what your definition of “Is” is.”
“Now you listen, we’re fighting a war against people who if you held up their holy book and asked them that question you would have to go into hiding for fear of the thousands of their followers that would be looking to track you down & cut your head off!
“That Book”, as YOU call it, To Me & To More Than A Billion Other People believe that It Is The Holy Word of God! I don’t claim to understand the infinite wisdom that is in It. I don’t profess to knowing every page within It. BUT I WILL NEVER PUT A LIMIT ON MY GOD!! I WILL NEVER DENY ANYTHING IN THE HOLY WORD IS ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE HOLY TRUTH OF GOD!”
“To be honest with you, I find your question to be insulting in tone and intention. Jesus said, “Forgive them Lord, for they do not know what they are doing.” So, I guess you can go to bed tonight knowing that Jesus forgives you. But I won’t.
(there I go yelling again. Yeah, well you should have seen me last night. I was furious - the DNC plants I filed under D for “Duh”)

Two weeks ago Edwards and Obama endured a CliNtoN staged informercial featuring Hillary(D) plants as post-MassDerbate “analysts” as well as Hillary campaigners planted as “undecided voters”, per Doug Ross’ roundup
In other words… a representative sample of the (D)emocrat party.
Edwards and Obama remained tight-lipped because if they win the nomination over Hillary(D) these will be their partisan activist liars.
Last Night we endured jeering Ron Paulestinians in the audience and demonization of (R)epublicans by Youtube questioners portraying the party as the worst stereotypes of rural America posing questions crafted by (D)emocrat party activists up to, and including, a top Kerry campaigner, and current a member of Hillary Clinton’s Gay Steering Committee, who was offered a soap-box by CNN to lecture and demand the (R)epublicans answer for a Clinton administration policy regarding Gays in the military.
Somebody should look Anderson Cooper right in the eye and say “I’m not asking and you don’t have to tell”…
CliNtoN is not a news organization, they are an extension of the Hillary Clinton(D) campaign.
November 29th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
CNN is still the Clinton News Network. Some of the people asking questions looked scary and you know that they were Demo plants and operatives. The gay general thing will backfire on Hillary - the majority of Americans do not want active homosexuals in the armed forces.

“what would Jesus do”"what would Jesus do”"what would Jesus do”"what would Jesus do”
Any tool that uses that expression is a Christian hating bigot attempting to pose as a Christian to mock and demonize them.

DANEgerus:
You know it’s funny. If you do believe in Jesus Christ as Lord & God, folks like that tool are going to find out for themselves. According to St John, it ain’t gonna be pretty for whole lot of people.

I watched a good portion of the debate last night, however I kept turning it off as it became more and more apparent that the questions were not coming from concerned Republicans but snide Democrats barely able to grunt a string of semi-intelligible words through their snarled smirks. The little twirp who asked the “What would Jesus Do” question could barely contain his scorn. It was clear from the start these were Democratic (read Clintonian) plants rather than genuine Republican voters. This was less an opportunity for undecided Republicans to make up their mind than a message for undecided Democrats to quit playing footsie with Obama & Edwards and get on the Clinton gravy-train.
What a complete and utter waste, and further evidence that CNN as a network can no longer be taken seriously. Not that such evidence was necessary after the “God’s Warriors” nonsense that equated Christian evangelicals and lobbyists to Hezbollah and Hamas. Yes, mobilizing voters and organizing bible camp is just like blowing yourself up in a synagogue or a playground. All religions are truly equal, after all, equally vile and oppressive, equally exploitative. And if you believe that, than you are equally ignorant, and undoubtedly willingly so. I used to respect Christian Amanpour. Now I don’t even care if I spell her name correctly. And if you know me at all, you know I’m obsessive when it comes to spelling. The entire world is turning into a bad X-Files episode, only instead of mysterious aliens or government agents, the Main Stream Media is the shadowy enemy, and yes, the truth is out there. S&L, you are our Mulder! haha

The funniest part about all of this , with the new media, did the Democrats really think they could pull this off without anyone noticing that the questions were planted? Look how easy it was for Michelle Malkin and SG to figure it out! Is everthing a big illusion to them? Smoke and mirrors! “Wag the Dog” (The Liberals really do think that most American’s are stupid.)
We may be witnessing the beginning of the extinction of the MSM. What purpose does a news outlet serve if it is all FAKE? (especially Clinton News Network)
November 29th, 2007 at 2:04 pm
“The Liberals really do think that most American’s are stupid.”
They count on it, actually, have for decades. Liberals (read Socialists) constantly gripe about class warfare, all the while promoting programs designed to create a dependent class, whom they can always depend on for political support, and considering the leftist grip on the media & university system, they no doubt feel they have little to fear of exposure. We are entering an age where the majority of university graduates are unthinking socialist drones, while those who never entered the system have formed the last bastion of free thought, vigorous debate, and genuine creativity in this country.

One of the early trainers of the CNN staff was Eason Jordan. He had some experience making sure he stays on the right side of bad People
“Over the last dozen years I made 13 trips to Baghdad to lobby the government to keep CNN’s Baghdad bureau open and to arrange interviews with Iraqi leaders.”
One can be sure the news has been approved by whoever they are taking orders from, if you are watching the Communist News Network.

““The Liberals really do think that most American’s are stupid.””
Half of us are below average.
November 29th, 2007 at 4:01 pm
It’s pathetic, really. They learned nothing from the CBS/Dan Rather business. You could have more respect for them if they came right out and said they look down on us ordinary Americans, hate all conservatives and Christians, and were making it their mission in life to get Billary elected again. But to try and pull such a stunt off in this day and age……
November 29th, 2007 at 6:22 pm
This is why the democrat runners wont debate on Fox….they cant plant the questions or study the answers ahead of time…they would have to actually be a candidate. CNN isnt doing anything they havent been paid to do before…..and of course, Google is a synonym for “leftist”. So what’s the big deal…..they cheat.
November 29th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
I guess I’m glad I missed the setup last night , and from what I’ve been hearing . So should have the candidates . Sounds like a real dog and poney show . Why anybody that’s running for the highest office in the land lower themselves to a youtube/cnn propoganda tool is beyond me . It gives cnn a small amount of legitimacy , and makes a joke of the process .
November 30th, 2007 at 10:02 am
It does not matter what questions are asked. The GOP candidates knew going in that CNN certainly is not unbiased whn it comes to political leanings. (Paula Zahn actually had tears in her eyes when Kerry lost to Bush). If the candidates cannot face CNN, are we to trust them with foreign policy? I.m POSITIVE that the Democrats would NEVER refuse an invitation from Fox News for a debate, right?
