The Dark Side Of Sheehan And Her Pals

In her high paid speeches Cindy Sheehan regularly talks about the conversations she has had with her deceased son Casey.

I believe [Casey] was telling me [from the grave], ‘you need to do whatever you can to bring my buddies back from that quagmire.’

Maybe she isn’t using poetic license. She seems to have some strong beliefs that way.

And it turns out that Cindy’s sister and constant companion Dede Miller is a true believer in ghosts and other aspects of the paranormal.

However a glance at Cindy Sheehan’s brief career as an Amazon book reviewer reveals a morbid streak even before the death of her son:

Resurrected: Tangible Evidence That Jesus Rose from the Dead by Gilbert R., Md. Lavoie

This book took me an hour to read, June 14, 2001

Loved it and I thought the proofs were very compelling. I went in believing that the shroud was of Jesus of Nazareth and now I believe it even more strongly.

Read this book if you are a skeptic or true believer!!!

Here is another review Mother Sheehan did for Amazon:

Galileo’s Daughter: A Historical Memoir of Science, Faith, and Love by Dava Sobel

Best book I have read in a long time, June 14, 2001

I read the book during Lent this year. I have admired Gallileo [sic] for a long time and I was happy when the church finally pardoned him and admitted that he was right (400 years later).

The book was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I laughed and cried. I didn’t expect his daughter to pass away before him. And I cried when she was found buried beneath him. What a pure love story!!

Since I have a love/hate relationship with the Catholic Church (I am a church employee), I found Gallileo’s [sic] struggles compelling and all to [sic] familiar for our day and age.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone!!!

But Cindy’s sister, Dede Miller, seems to have fully given herself over to the dark side of life.

Dede Miller (left) comforts Dorothy Holman, mother of Navy Petty Officer Allen Schindler who was beaten to death by shipmates in Japan in 1992 for being gay, during a memorial for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered veterans at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City on Saturday, May 6, 2006. The memorial was held by Veterans for Peace and marks the 5th anniversary of America’s first veterans monument dedicated soley to gays, lesbians, bisexual, and transgendered who died in wars.

For among her accomplishments Ms. Miller is the Vice President of the California Society For Ghost Research. And she has other interesting credentials besides:

CSGR Administration

Dede Miller (CSGR Vice-president): Works in the Human Resources Field. She possesses both certifications in Meditation’s [sic] I & II and Healing’s [sic] I & II, and is currently attending a Clairvoyant training program at the Southern California Psychic Institute.

Dede is so much the expert that even cable television shows seek out her guidance. (SGVPR is the forerunner of CSGR):

April 3rd 2002 – Whaley House with the Travel Channel – Whaley House Old Town San Diego

SGVPR Director and Founder Diane Melvin was invited by Whaley House Ghost Docent Martin Wolf to take part in a Travel Channel filming about the ghosts at the Whaley House. Along with interviewing Diane Melvin and Martin Wolf, the Travel Channel crew filmed several reenactments of events that possibly contributed to or caused the hauntings. Towards the end of the evening Diane introduced equipment used during investigations and it was followed up with clips of an investigation performed by Diane Melvin and Martin Wolf. Diane was accompanied by SGVPR members Richard Amadori and Dede Miller.

Doesn’t this sound like "Ghost Busters"?

SGVPRMission Statement

It is the mission of the San Gabriel Valley Paranormal Researchers (SGVPR) to research and investigate paranormal phenomena throughout Southern California. With a specialization in ghosts and hauntings the SGVPR investigates all types of locations where such phenomena has been reported. We are always in search of irrefutable evidence of ghosts and the paranormal, and during this venture also hope to obtain a better understanding through further study and expand our findings of the paranormal and it’s nature.

If you, or someone you know, are having problems dealing with a specific haunting, think that a certain location may be haunted, or simply have questions about hauntings in general don’t hesitate to email us. We will do our best to respond and answer your questions as promptly as possible, and also respect your privacy. This means if you request your case not be published in any fashion or form, the SGVPR will respect your wishes and keep your case confidential.

Don’t they look like "Ghost Busters"?

The results of Dede’s search of the Whaley House (conducted eleven days after the 9/11 attacks on our country) can be found here.

It must be remembered what a powerful influence Dede Miller is in her sister Cindy Sheehan’s life.

Dede has been at Cindy’s side every step of career as a war protester. In fact, Dede has often filled in for Cindy when Cindy couldn’t make a protest. She has been happily arrested in Cindy’s stead.

As Dede is slightly less than photogenic, the media have steadfastly ignored her and concentrated instead on the supposedly "typical soccer mom," Cindy.

But there are even indications Dede Miller was a leftwing radical even before her nephew’s death. Cindy often cites her sister as the impetus behind her decision to become a professional protester.

Dede seems to have been the person who talked Cindy into joining Military Families Speak Out and later, Code Pink.

Dede also seems to have been the driving force behind Cindy’s own tax exempt 501c3 "charity" the Gold Star Families For Peace. She is still the only contact person for GSFP.org.

Indeed, it looks like Dede may have teamed up with another paranormal enthusiast, Nadia McCaffrey, to help start the GSFP.

Nadia McCaffrey

Like Mother Sheehan, Ms. McCaffrey lost a son in the war. And like Cindy, Nadia is a hate-America speaker you can rent from Code Pink/Global Exchange.

Nadia and Mother Sheehan and Code Pink also teamed up to help to raise and deliver $600,000 in money and supplies to the terrorists in Fallujah.

And like Cindy and Dede, Nadia also has a very wide morbid streak, having enjoyed three near death experiences of her own.

Nadia has even started her own tax exempt "charity," called AngelStaff, to further revel in the proximity to death:

Angelstaff was founded by Nadia McCaffrey who has worked as a midwife to the dying for over 17 years. Having had three NDE’s [near death experiences] of her own, she brings forth her own experiential understanding of the dying process to provide compassionate and empathic support for her clients and their families. A native of France, Nadia brings a passion for life and a natural lightness of being to her work with the dyings [sic].

Nadia also oversees her own organization called Changing the Face of Death, in wich she provides the latest informations [sic] in regards to Conscious Living and Dying. A 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization.

In fact, Nadia McCaffrey is so in love with death she has tried to commit suicide — twice:

Nadia McCaffrey’s Near-Death Experiences

Our condolences to Nadia over the loss of her son Patrick who was killed on June 22, 2004 while serving his country in Iraq. Visit Patrick’s Memorial website. Nadia is a Coordinator for GoldStarsSpeak, Speakers Bureau, a Peaceful Pro-People Organization that works with GoldStars Mothers (Mothers who have lost a Son in the Iraq War) They are working actively to bring our troops home and to stop the war.

Nadia McCaffrey is a perfect example of how a NDE can dramatically change a person’s life. After being bitten by a snake when she was a child, she had a very beautiful NDE. Having to return to life from her NDE was a tremendous disappointment to her. Her desire to once again be in the spirit world of love and peace caused her to attempt suicide on two occasions. These attempts only resulted in two more NDEs.

So there seems to be a strong nihilistic tendency among Cindy Sheehan and her sister and close friend.

Bear in mind that Cindy Sheehan’s regularly notes how suicidal she felt and still feels after the death of her son:

If I had a choice, if an angel came and said, ‘do you want to live or die?’ I would say, ‘I want to die. Take me with my son.’ If I didn’t have three other kids, I would have had them bury me with Casey.

Maybe these women aren’t in the best position to be determining our country’s foreign policy.

Unless we want to commit national suicide.
