Veteran For Peace Gordon Soderberg At It Again

Here we go again.

Before Katrina the Veterans For (A) Peace were begging for multimedia equipment. During Katrina they were begging for multimedia equipment — so to document their magnificent efforts, don’t you know.

And now, what a surprise, they are still begging for multimedia equipment:

Gordon Soderberg
Member of Veternas For Peace New Orleans

He was the bus driver, web master www.vfproadtrips.org, and videographer of the Veterans For Peace Impeachment Tour Bus that brought Cindy Sheehan to the ditch, and the guy who coined the phase "Camp Casey"!.

He now lives in New Orleans and has been since Sept 2nd. He has been using his cooking tallents in the Common Ground Collective, building a New Orleans Chapter of Veterans For Peace and generating donations of equipment and supplies for the rebuilding of the communication systems for non profits in the New Orleans.

We have starting the first Veterans For Peace Chapter in the "Deep South"! And have a strategically located in Algiers Point, New Orleans.

Over the next several weeks, will are setting up media centers and wireless internet access sites for the hardest hit communities in the city.

We need to get our office and portable media suite geared up to provide documentation of training and share stories of VFP programs members and partnering organizations efforts with the commmunities they serve!

We have non profit 501-c3 status and will provide great deal of coverage for any donor who can boot us up!

Could you spread this around as a needs list!.

$$$$$$ ???

This is actually a more modest request than their previous lists of demands. Except for the vans, trucks, buses.

But hey, they only want one iPod now, as opposed to their earlier requests for dozens of them. And you sure can’t begrudge them a leather case for the thing.

But why on earth do they need this stuff for anyway? Are they going to make pornos?

Probably not, since would require some modicum of effort — beyond rattling the begging bowl, which seems to be the extent of their abilities.

I do like the VFP’s promise to "provide [a] great deal of coverage for any donor who can boot [them] up!" How very non-profit 501c3 of them. I wonder if the IRS would approve of such a quid pro quo ?

Anyway, I guess the VFP are never going to explain what they have done with the hundreds of thousands of dollars they scammed from they gullible people who thought they were contributing to Katrina victims.

Note that the VFP brainiacs still haven’t figured out how to work spell check. And we never did see any photos of them helping anybody after Katrina.

Hey, maybe they want this equipment to get their arrests on video, so they can launch a claim about police brutality.

All praise to vigilant reader Rakkasan for spotting this latest attempt by these leeches to get something for nothing.
