Sean has been touting his 2012 electoral map, which I was hoping could be used for easy access to candidates in Operation Counterweight: http://www.hannity.com/politicalmap

But, it doesn’t appear to have information on any challengers, or even who is up for election this year.

So here is my compiled list thus far, including new finds who’ve emerged:

*Texas: Fmr. Solicitor General Ted Cruz – http://www.tedcruz.org/

*Ohio: State Treasurer Josh Mandel – http://joshmandel.com/

*Indiana: State Treasurer Richard Mourdock – http://www.richardmourdock.com

    *Florida: Rep. Connie Mack http://mack.house.gov/

Nebraska: State Treasurer Don Stenberg http://stenbergforsenate.com/

    Wisconsion: Rep. Mark Neumann http://neumann2012.com/

    Arizona: Rep. Jeff Flake http://www.jeffflake.com/

    Rhode Island: Barry Hinckley http://www.hinckleyforsenate.com/

    Michigan: Gary Glenn, http://garyglenn.us/

    Nebraska: Jon Bruning http://jonbruning.com/

    Maine: Scott d’Amboise http://www.damboiseforsenate.com/

    *Utah-4: Mia Love http://www.love4utah.com/

*Massachusetts-4: Sean Bielat http://seanbielat.com/ (he gave Barney a run for the money in 2010, is widely credited as the reason Barney is retiring, and as we’ve just learned, will be facing yet another Kennedy)

    Virginia-8: Col. Patrick Murray http://patrickmurrayforcongress.com/index.php

    * denotes those who’ve been making waves and are showing exceptional potential Conservative leadership.

Some great ads out there recently related to the 3 year anniversary of Porkulus.

RNC: “The Promise that Became a Punchline” (h/t The Right Scoop)

    Team Romney: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSDNq96qXO8&feature=player_embedded

These ads knocking Obama have always been one of their biggest strengths, so much more than when they’re tooled to distort the records of Romney’s GOP opponents. There’s no need to distort Obama, his own words and record write teh scriptz. Team Mittsy should stick to this. Blowin’ the money on regular hits like this while talkin’ a good game could probably be enough secure the nom if Santorum loses his sharpness. Unfortunately, it won’t be enough alone for the presidency though.

    February 13, 2012

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a leading fiscal conservative, today blasted President Obama’s fiscal year 2013 (FY2013) budget as election year politics that will saddle future American generations with more debt.

“In an effort to win re-election, President Obama’s budget uses Washington gimmicks and accounting tricks to simultaneously spend more money on items important to his base while falsely claiming to reduce spending,” said Inhofe. “He is trying to fund yet another failed stimulus, and it is simply irresponsible. Under this President, we have now had four budgets with yearly deficits over $1 trillion each. This budget continues Washington’s disastrous trend of spending money we don’t have. He claims this budget has $4 trillion in deficit reductions. In reality, he is proposing $8 trillion in more deficits and $11 trillion more added to the debt. He increases spending on his liberal leaning agenda items on the backs of dangerous defense cuts.

“Once again, because of his failure to provide leadership, the President is turning a blind eye to fiscal crisis that is facing this nation. To further help pay for his big-government spending, the President is proposing $1.9 trillion in new taxes on families, small businesses and job creators – including those in the energy industry. These industry specific tax increases will simply be passed on to families in the form of higher costs. The best thing the President could do to help our economy, spur job creation, and assist those struggling to make ends meet would be to provide certainty by cutting government spending, reducing the tax burden, and ending over-regulation. Instead, President Obama offers more of the same: too much spending, too much borrowing, and too much taxation.”

    Annual Deficit Under Obama

    Ø FY09: $1.413 trillion (the highest in U.S. history)

    Ø FY10: $1.294 trillion

    Ø FY11: $1.299 trillion

    Ø FY12: $1.33 trillion

    Obama’s FY2013 Tax Increases

Ø Total tax increase of $1.9 trillion.

Ø The largest tax increase in U.S. history, raising taxes by at least $1.5 trillion on families making more than $250,000 per year.

Ø Imposes news taxes under the so-called Buffett Rule.

Ø Increases taxes on the fossil fuel energy industry by roughly $41 billion over the next 10 years.

Ø Increases taxes on the financial industry by $61 billion over the next 10 years.

    Election-Driven Spending

Ø $487 billion cut in defense spending over the next 10 years, and the first cut in military spending since the 1990s.

Ø $8 billion in a new community college initiative.

Ø $30 billion in new school construction spending.

Ø A 55 percent increase in Obama’s Race to the Top education initiative.

Ø $30 billion in new spending for teachers and first responders.

Ø $1.4 billion in new energy spending, more than a third ($522 million) of which will be spent on increase in renewable energy programs.

Ø $45 billion to extend unemployment insurance

Ø $35 billion to establish a “universal dislocated workers” program.

Ø $14 billion in additional Pell Grant funding.

Ø $13 billion for a “Pathways Back to Work” fund.

What’s with the Sales Pitch up above? Is anyone paying attention? Or, does this happen every weekend and I’m late to the party?

    • tranquil.night says:

First time I’ve notice it happen. There’s an officialy way to advertise here that’s hardly confiscatory, but wth. I was going to make a snarky comment about how Chinese prisoners are coerced to do online labor and sales advertising for cheap knock-off sites. But I think I’ve maxed out my sarcasm card lately, so I just figured Steve would eventually handle it.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

This happened last week in every thread with the same poster putting it on one thread over seven times.

I e-mailed Steve about it whereupon he promptly deleted them. This may be a tough one if it has a random URL address generator and Steve can’t find a way to block it. Presumably everyone has to pick their screen name and get a password assigned.

However, that particular clown may just have nothing better to do. Or, it’s a very sophisticated spam-bot

Public schools. Remember Obama’s ongoing teaching classes speech with packets for K-12 he started
2009? AOW or AoW with numbers AoW#15, etc.

Our children are being told who to vote for by Obama’s Dept of Education programs the Education Unions have adapted.

This is AOW Kids is moving fast and furious. It goes by different words as to the abreviation of AoW. Anything goes in the assignment.

Discussing GPS tracking on kids who skip school.
(this when parents get erroneous computerized tele calls their students were absent and the parent has to straighten it out)

The AOW is being used under different guises “article of the week” (New York Times major source)

Super PACs: All the speech money can buy The new, supercharged …

AoW 15 (revised) Super PACs: All the speech money can buy The new, supercharged political action committees are raising unlimited funds to sway the 2012 elections.

Here is an example where the public schools are demonizing Mitt Romney.

There are tons of assignments literally “our” children are doing. Behind our backs our the voices who objected to the class assignments Obama’s speech to our children have continued. I was already told by different schools they would tape it. As in do the assignments anytime they want.

    • canary says:

Today’s teachers are getting assignments off the internet available nationwide. Programs like Bell Work.
And I’ve tracked that many assignments are being taught and required by student teachers at Federal aided Universities.

I recall Ward Mama complaining the school bused Democratic students to vote, and this is true. The Young Democrats are powerful club in the schools. The Young Republicans clubs are pretty well non-existent as teachers don’t want to oversee them, and students are afraid, just as during the 2008 elections to say they were for McCain. While some teachers followed the rules as to whom they were voting for (doesn’t stop their propaganda) some teachers broke the rules and told students who they personally were voting for. Last election brought out turbulence, violence, etc. in mid-high and high schools.

  7. Mithrandir says:

WHEN YOU REALIZE that the teachers and their unions are just as politically scripted as the news media, nothing will come as a shock to you.

They are 1 huge inter-connected web of liberal-communism propaganda. I went to a union rally a few years ago, and the propaganda buttons were: anti-Republican, pro-homosexual “I’m straight but not narrow!”, pro-communist, pro-abortion, anti-Foxnews, anti-war, anti-Christian/pro-wiccan etc. And I thought, “Why do unions give a crap about wiccans and homosexuals? When did that happen?” It’s because they are all part of the same union. And union people stick up for union people.

It’s the same as the Nazi party 1938. If you want a job, be part of the party, or starve to death. “Why didn’t the people of Germany stand up to the Nazi party?” Puh! Please! Such a simpleton, hair-brained question! Some did! Where did that get them? -A one way ticket to the gas chamber, but JOINING the Nazi party had 1000s of benefits. Why do you think Leni Riefenstahl made all those propaganda films? She clearly wasn’t a party member….think about it.
It’s the same as the communist party in Russia: all the members get rationed or banned items, live like kings, and the masses that are not accepted starve to death. Obama’s pay-off system is the exact same template.

BOOK OF THE MONTH CLUB: Once Upon a Secret by Mimi Alford.
I don’t mean to help self-publicists with their self-publicity, but you’ll no doubt have seen something about this in the press already.

She was a 19 year old White House intern. ..
He was the Most Powerful Man on Earth; wealthy, handsome, horny…
She was a virgin until five minutes after they met, when he pushed her down on the bed and did what he felt like doing. She wasn’t asked for her opinion on the matter.
Now she’s an old lady and she’s put her name to a ghost written memoir of her icky little affair with JFK…

Kennedy never kissed her and she never called him anything except “sir” or “Mr President”. How romantic! He took her to swinging parties at Bing Crosby’s house – how glamorous! The low point of this nasty little book is when she, JFK and his chief fixer and pimp Dave Powers are splashing around in the White House pool and JFK says that Dave looks “a little tense” and tells her to go over and give him a blow job.

The correct response to any such suggestion, of course, is “F**k you, Jack. Blow him yourself if it means that much to you” but nope, the brainless idiot paddles over and goes down on Dave while the President of the United States watches. Makes you proud to be an American, huh? On another occasion he orders her to service brother Teddy the same way, and this time she says no. I mean fun’s fun but Teddy? A girl has to have some standards…

I remember when Kennedy was shot. I remember how I felt bad but the more we learn about what a selfish, spoiled, arrogant, corrupt little jerk he was, someone who behaved like a bastard simply because he enjoyed being a bastard and he could get away with it since no one in his life had ever said no to him, the more I think that Lee Oswald inadvertently did the country and the world a big favor.

They should put up a statue to him on the Mall – “Lee Harvey Oswald 1939-1963: Loser, Crackpot, Marksman, Friend to American Womanhood” – and if anybody wants to start raising money toward it, count me in for a few bucks.

Former Shell CEO Blasts Obama: His Attempts to Increase Domestic Oil Production “Has Been Nil, Nada, Nothing”
Posted by Jim Hoft on Monday, February 20, 2012

Back in September John Hofmeister, former CEO of Shell Oil and founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy, warned that China’s increased consumption of oil would have an impact on global gas prices.

This weekend Hofmeister blasted the Obama Administration for prohibiting oil and gas production in the United States.
    FOX News reported:

John Hofmeister, former CEO of Shell Oil and founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy, told Fox News that oil production today is only 7 million barrels per day when it used to be 10 million per day.

“We know where the oil is but the government has to allow the companies to get the oil,” he said, charging the Obama administration with being “anti-drilling,” as demonstrated by the moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico following the BP spill in 2010.

The average price of gas this month so far is $3.49 a gallon — up 21 cents since the beginning of the year — and $1.60 more per gallon than when Obama took office in January 2009.

Even WORSE, a note in the Comments:

As Jim Hoft previously noted, it isn’t just NOT developing domestic oil production, Obama is GIVING AWAY literally BILLIONS in oil.. an entire US reserve, with its territories.. this should be TOP NEWS!!!:

Report: Obama Administration Is Giving Away 7 Strategic Islands to Russia AND the BILLIONS in oil around them!!
Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, February 18, 2012

The seven endangered islands in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea include one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined. The Russians are also to get the tens of thousands of square miles of oil-rich seabeds surrounding the islands. The Department of Interior estimates billions of barrels of oil are at stake.

“During a Feb. 21 meeting, Parker told the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas that while she has the power to perform legal marriage ceremonies in her court, she will not.

“I use it as my opportunity to give them a lesson about marriage inequality in this state because I feel like I have to tell them why I’m turning them away,” Parker said..”

OK…….just you know if they finally legalize gay “marriage” in Texas she should be okay with other judges, priests, ship captains, and anyone else authorized to do marriages turning gay couples down if they morally or religiously object to a gay “marriage.” After all, they’re acting on their conscience, aren’t they? And want to bet anyone who turns a gay couple down gets run up on some civil rights violation?

  11. Anonymoose says:

“Clouds that are lower in the atmosphere would allow Earth to cool more efficiently, potentially offsetting some of the warming caused by greenhouse gases.”

OK, anything that’s affecting the weather is yet another “offset” to global warming. The planet may just be cooling on it’s own, but no, they can’t let go it’s warming somehow.
