Via Jammie Wearing Fools and Stacy McCain: http://www.jammiewf.com/2012/sandra-flukes-appearance-is-no-fluke/ Sandra Fluke is a 30 year old, not 23, longtime Feminist operative who in her own words attended Georgetown with the express purpose of battling their contraception policy.

“Sandra is the Development Editor of the Journal of Gender and the Law, and served as the President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and the Vice President of the Women’s LegalAlliance.. Cornell University awarded her a B. S. in Policy Analysis & Management, as well as Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies in 2003.”

    Erhm.. right then.

Fear not, our courageous comrade. Their arrogance is their weakness.

You might want to say my faith in my friends and our cause is mine. We shall see. It is an endless waltz (another great sci-fi flick), after all, this battle over mankind’s nature.

By building an organizational culture based on fear, lack of independence, and an unwillingness to adapt to changing circumstances, the Emperor set the stage for his own inevitable failure.”

I hated the ending of Thelma & Louise. Ezra did you like the suicide part of the part where the two women kissed and you imagined they became lesbians and you think they did a cool thing.
The ending was a downer. The creator couldn’t have come up with a better ending like them ending up in Mexico?
I don’t get it the pun with this movie.

    1. Obama would outlaw breathing if he could, to distract from the economy, ANYTHING to distract, he is down in the polls, probably counted his electoral votes and is very worried.

    2. Blacks are 98% for Obama, gays have been secured with DADT repealed. Reducing the deportations draws the Hispanic vote closer to him. NOW, all he needs to MAKE A WEDGE ISSUE separating the men from the women. They have to make political hay over the right to work states stuff before November too. The Devil is going to need a vacation after all this overtime!

    3. ROSA PARKS, this woman is just a plant to cause controversy to an issue. Democrats are good at planning things DECADES IN ADVANCE, all they need it the right candidate to inch toward their goals.

    4. SCREAMING NONSENSE IS DEMOCRAT STRATEGY. Trump up contraception as an issue, and scream the narrative in the media. Go to an Issa meeting, then scream that he is discriminating, someone sneezes–blow your rape whistle. It doesn’t matter what actually happens, they are going to lie and make up garbage to fit their story. No one is really paying attention anyway, but they hear sound bites, and that’s all that matters.

    5. LIBERAL WOMEN ARE SLUTS! All that 60s free love crap, Woodstock, smokin’ dope and sharing their bodies, yeeeeeah, we remember all too well about loose liberal women. Now they are acting outraged that one of their liberal buddies is being called loose. Since when do liberal women care what men think anyways?! They are liberated from those opinions, grow up and move on with your lives you whinny hypocrites! Walk the walk for heaven’s sake.

    6. The same people who didn’t Constitutionally pass a budget for over 1000 days, are going to spend their time making up issues. What are we paying them for for?!

    • tranquil.night says:

Oh it’s all the penultimate of faux outrage. Stirring up drama with Rush and distracting from Obama’s economy, administrative corruption, and power grabs. That’s a no brainer for them. The Fluke testimony was always an orchestrated trap, no need for Admiral Ackbar on that one. Rush seemingly.. well he just went in Solo style with guns blazing, I guess, lol. But the crux of your point is exactly right, Mith. The world is blowing up, kids are getting shot, a wonderful guy we all love drops dead. And the friggen Demoncraps want to put on a dog and pony show about how wonderful it is that women aren’t going to lose their ovaries now because of free birth control! All of it damn lies, of course, that’s what Lieberals do. Weeee!

This weekend is one of the ultimate “If I were Rush, how would I seize this opportunity..” moments.

Forget Fluke, I don’t think I could hold back on the Democrats. I really don’t think I could. They’ve crossed many lines, but they’re pushing the last thread.

But that’s why I’m not a highly trained broadcast specialist. Heh heh.

I can’t believe Obama called Sandra Fluk on the phone.
Like her he feel’s his feels nothing should get in the way of all day basketball games and playing golf.

    • Mithrandir says:

TRIUMPH OF THE WILL…that’s what I call every democrat convention or get-together, that’s all it is.

~The Iraq War anniversary protests were just rent-a-mobs. Where were they when Obama became president? –no where.

~The occupy wall street liberal flash mobs. They threw that bit of propaganda together so fast, they didn’t even bother with a message. Remember when “OCCUPY” was a liberal swear word for the Iraq war? Now they are coveting it. Zell Miller speech at the RNC talking about “OCCUPY.” Whole speech still gives me goosebumps: http://youtu.be/JXSQ5BX6YXg?t=4m47s

Now this wholly manufactured contraception argument. Everything Republicans say, the response has degenerated into something like this:

A: I can’t believe they want to repeal away women’s rights! Why do they want to outlaw contraception!!!
B: I don’t think you are understanding the conversation.
A: He just called me a b**ch!–see! see!
      B: I didn’t call you a b**ch. What? I didn’t—
A: See! He just said it again!–oh my god!
C: CNN: This just in, Republican calls women fighting for her rights “a b**ch.”

      The Republican strategy is two-fold
      1. Turn every argument into the economy, “We can’t have this unconstitutional mandated forced upon us with the economy the way it is!”
      2. Play the same game. “Since when do democrats care about women? O.J. killed his wife and the feminists said nothing. Kennedy killed his mistress, got 47 years in the Senate, Clinton / JFK sexually abused women, and feminists said nothing. I can’t believe how ant-women democrats are, and furthermore!….”

      ….and so it goes….

    • GetBackJack says:

Well, seriously. How much sex are you having Ms. Fluke if you need someone else to pay the enormous tab for protection? Let’s be serious for a moment and remember …

… when many of us here were younger and the hormones were in control of our brain stems, sex was something that happened so infrequently that carrying a condom with you was more an act of desperate hope, than a Saturday night token.

Ms. Fluke, the way to 100% certainty of not becoming pregnant – the reason for contra-conception – is to not have sex. (shocking!!) As so many of us managed to do until marriage.

Ms. Fluke, you really have telegraphed that you have so much sex – in short, are easier than hell – by demanding someone else foot what appears to be an enormous bill for your insistence that sexual relattions is coequal to food, water and air.

Which is bullshiat of the highest order.

And reveals you as a spoiled, self-absorbed knucklehead who really REALLY doesn’t get God’s Plan for you as a woman, His place in your life and – most importantly – your deepest and most misguided belief that what you want is sacred to your well being.

Billions of people have died on that altar, hon.

And double congrats on being willing to be whored out by the Democratic Party. And so, since you’ve revealed who you really are …. what’s your price for one hour?

Or perhaps until the Left forces Bill Mahr to apologize to Sarah Palin for the many times he has called her a c*nt.

I will continue to agree with Rush – Ms Fluke is a liar, a slut and a DNC tool.

Wrong choice of words, maybe. But the outrage from a group of people who use clearly obscene words (as opposed to dictionary definitions of what Ms Fluke did on Monday and claims she and 40% of the women at Georgetown Law School do for 3 years there) is purely an attempt to pc police/silence a RIGHT (1st Amendment) to free political speech.

Didn’t we hear for years that the KKK had the RIGHT – however nasty it was – to say what they wanted to say? Little did we know that the reason the Dems defended them was that they were a PAC of the DNC.

wm4, it’s great to hear from you. Best tidings to you.

It’s all oh-so made to order. The comments didn’t help, and Rush was right to remain a professional and recognize it. But of course, all the apology does is solidify the egregiousness of the offense to the offended, thereby justifying further retribution. Not unlike some of our friends elsewhere in the world, I am reminded. So of course now they’re trying to stigmatize the word as a form of patriarchal domination and intimidation of women’s free speech.

      Excuse me?

Who is it currently trying to silence opposing voices through targeted and organized boycotts?

Professor Jacobson says it’s time to Make an Example of Carbonite, who weaseled out but continue to advertize on the Sgt. Schultz show despite the same offense. This type of action really isn’t in our playbook normally, as he notes, but I tend to agree that we can’t just sit by and let it happen anymore without principled pushback. So if anyone has signed up with them, it’s my personal recommendation take a look at a competitor.

    • tranquil.night says:

And also not to forget that while the Left accuses Rush for trying to intimidate expressions of opposing views, this whole issue started because of an HHS Mandates that explicitly violates the First Ammendment. You know, these arguments for “reproductive justice” are a man’s wet dream. I wonder if these “feminists” have any idea that what they’re lobbying for amounts to a demand that young men get to have their unrestrained way with as many women as possible without consequence.

      Reproductive Justice ain’t for Lesbians.

It’s for urgently promiscuous heterosexual women.

I see the beginnings of a reawakening of the Cult of Dionysus in the making.

This cult is, in the modern era, misunderstood as nothing more than a totem to excessive drink. But it is far far more than that and terrifyingly apocalyptic.

To the Greeks (and purloined by the Romans as Bacchus) Dionysus represented the personification of unrestrained sexual aggressiveness.

      By women.

From Tom Horn, Apollyon Rising 2012 & Neohlim Stargate (WND)

” … “Followers of Dionysus imagined him as the presence that is otherwise defined within man as the craving that longs to ‘let itself go’ and to ‘give itself over’ to outlaw desires,” says Horn. “What puritans might resist as the lustful wants of the carnal man or the temptations of the Devil, the followers of Dionysus embraced as the incarnate power that would, in the afterlife, liberate man’s soul from the constraints of the present world and from customs which sought to define respectability through obedience to moral law.”

According to Horn, worshippers of Dionysus attempted to bring themselves into union with the god through ritual casting off of the bonds of sexual denial and primal constraint by seeking to attain a “higher state of ecstasy.”

The uninhibited rituals of ecstasy (Greek for “outside the body”) employed lascivious behavior, ecstatic communal dancing to the drums and flute, flicking of the head backward (as found in most trance inducing cults), and overt consumption of wine to bring the followers of Dionysus into a supernatural condition which enabled them to escape the temporary limitations of the body and mind and to achieve an orgiastic state of “enthousiasmos”, or “outside the body and inside the god.”

In this sense, Dionysus represented a dichotomy in the Greek religion, as the primary maxim of the Greek culture was one of moderation; “nothing too extreme.” Yet Dionysus embodied the absolute extreme in that he sought to inflame the forbidden passions of human desire.

“As students of psychology will understand,” Horn continues, “the willful abandonment of social restraints, which defined Dionysus-worship, actually gave the god of wine and revelry a stronger allure, not weaker, among many ancients who otherwise tried in so many ways to suppress and control the secret lusts of the human heart. Dionysus was a craving that demanded one partake of ‘the forbidden fruit’ and who threatened madness upon those who denied him free expression. Conversely, persons giving themselves over to the will of Dionysus were promised the lie of unlimited psychological and physical delights.”

In Nephilim Stargates, Horn records how the Dionystic idea of mental disease resulting from suppression of secret inner desires, especially aberrant sexual desires, was later reflected in the teachings of Sigmund Freud. Freudianism is therefore the grandchild of the cult of Dionysus, Horn concludes.

Such mythical systems of mental punishment and physical rewards based on resistance and/or submission to Dionysus were symbolically and literally illustrated in the cult rituals of the Bacchae, as the Bacchae women (married and unmarried Greek women had the legal right to participate in the mysteries of Dionysus) migrated in frenzied hillside groups, dressed transvestite in fawn skins and accompanied by screaming, music, dancing, and omnisexual behavior.

When for instance a baby animal was too young and lacking in instinct to sense the danger and run away from the revelers, it was picked up and suckled by bare-breasted women who participated in the hillside rituals. Yet when older animals sought to escape the marauding Bacchae, they were considered “resistant” to the will of Dionysus and were torn apart and eaten alive as a part of the fevered ritual.

Horn points to parallels of this condition in today’s United States. “What at one time would have been unthinkable – deviant sex acts conducted openly in major U.S. cities – is become acceptable, while ‘resisters’ of the new Dionysian cult are increasingly labeled enemies of free expression and threatened with hate-crime legislation.”

Before the ancient Greek/Roman festival was outlawed in 186 BC by a decree of the Senate – the so-called “Senatus consultum de Bacchanalibus”—as having become too debauched, human participants were increasingly subject to public orgiastic extremes, as the rule of the Bacchanalia became “anything goes,” including public sex acts, S&M type torture, bestiality, and even pedophilia.

According to Horn, the devil was literally in the details, and the tempter was seeking souls for destruction.

“The Hebrew people considered Hades – the Greek god of the underworld – to be equal with Hell and/or the Devil, and many ancients likewise saw no difference between Hades, in this sense the Devil, and Dionysus. Euripedes echoed this sentiment in the Hecuba, and referred to the followers of Dionysus as the ‘Bacchants of Hades.’ Heraclitus agreed, writing that, ‘Hades and Dionysus, for whom they go mad and rage, are one and the same.’”

Horn wonders if the ‘god’ Dionysus, a spirit historically identified with Satan, is rising from the underworld in modern Bacchanalian eroticism. “Is a psychological or supernatural force behind the growing flood of debauchery? Are we seeing evil supernaturalism in the birth pangs of a new occult Dionysianism?” …

    • tranquil.night says:

“Horn points to parallels of this condition in today’s United States. ‘What at one time would have been unthinkable – deviant sex acts conducted openly in major U.S. cities – is become acceptable, while ‘resisters’ of the new Dionysian cult are increasingly labeled enemies of free expression and threatened with hate-crime legislation.’”

Yep. Pop culture in a nutshell. The erasing of traditional behavioral customs, substituting the concept of right and wrong and self-accountability for relativism and the unrestrained Id. The counter-culture movement isn’t anything ‘New Age’ whatsoever.

OK.NEWS: U.S. Air Force to shut down award-winning communications unit at Tinker Air Force Base
Air Force officials notified Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe on Tuesday that the 3rd Combat Communications Group will be eliminated and 600 airmen assigned elsewhere.

By Chris Casteel Mar 6 2012

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Air Force has decided to shut down an award-winning unit at Tinker Air Force Base that has flown to combat zones for more than 50 years to establish communications systems. About 600 uniformed positions are expected to be lost at the base because of the deactivation.
      photo –

The Air Force announced Tuesday that the 3rd Combat Communications Group, known as the 3rd Herd, would be eliminated. The unit, which has five squadrons and is part of the Air Force Space Command’s 24th Air Force, has won numerous service awards. In 2009, it sent 361 combat airmen to 38 locations, including Iraq.

Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Tulsa, got word of the Air Force decision Tuesday afternoon, a day after he appeared at an Oklahoma City luncheon with the Air Force’s top uniformed leader, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz.

Schwartz didn’t inform Inhofe or civic leaders at the luncheon about the decision to eliminate the communications unit, which passed a rigorous inspection just last month.

Inhofe, a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and a fierce protector of Oklahoma’s military bases, said the news about the 3rd Herd was “a shocker” and that he had heard no justification for the decision.

“This is just a meat-ax cut,” Inhofe said. “Why the 3rd Communications Group? They’re not just reducing it in size — it’s just wham, it’s eliminated.”

Inhofe has repeatedly assailed President Barack Obama for the Defense Department reductions, and he said Tuesday that the cuts “jeopardize our future capability at a time of international insecurity.”

“It is disturbing that President Obama is so eager to make billions of dollars in funding and personnel cuts to our military even while spending on entitlements and social programs continue to skyrocket,” she said.

Most of the reductions announced so far for Oklahoma bases have been relatively small and the result of broad reorganization efforts. However, a bigger blow was delivered to the Boeing Co.’s plans for Oklahoma City when the Air Force decided to cancel a contract to upgrade the cockpits of C-130s; that decision threatens an estimated half of the 550 jobs the company was set to move to Oklahoma City from Long Beach, Calif.

Bill Whittle – Firewall: The Battle of Big Ideas Part 1, Constrained vs. Unconstrained

“Bill looks at the two visions of Mankind that Thomas Sowell has labeled ‘Constrained’ (acceptance of man’s absolute fallen nature) and ‘Unconstrained’ (relativism/utopianism) and the examples of their twin Revolutions: the Constrained American Revolution and the Unconstrained French Revolution.”

He covers Hobbes, Rosseau, Robespierre. Ameritopia crosses into this a lot too, but Bill illustrates the point beautifully as well. The point is the paradigm of this philosophical war of worldcraft is counter-intuitive on the surface. Everything about the unconstrained worldview is bright-eyed, idealistic, and seemingly representative of happiness vis-a-vis looking at life through eternally rose-colored glasses, whereas the constrained worldview comes across as the crux of pessimism, cynicism, and jadedness. But what it comes down to is that you either build a society that pursues a false-ideal in the nebulous idea of perfection, and end up on the road to hell; or you organize society on the realistic basis that there can never be total equality, pain and chance never totally erased from the equation – but protect for each individual their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of their happiness, and collectively human misery is radically reduced.

Well, he’s also said that by black, he does not mean skin color, he means those who are really black, not those who think white and look black. And so what he is really saying is he wants ideological conformity in the people that are hired to fill this position. That’s not uncommon either. I know a black woman, for example, who had a Ph.D. — she’s had a book published, she has another contract on another book, she’s taught at a couple of very nice places, she has a devil of a time getting a job — not a job in a prestigious institution, a job teaching at a college. And the reason is that she gets shot down, blackballed, whatever, by people who don’t like her ideology. That’s happening not only racially, it’s also happening where race is not an issue. In a law school, I learned recently, there’s a woman who was being considered for a tenured position, and all the men voted for her and all the woman voted against her, because she does not follow radical feminism, and so you’re getting these ideological tests, so that at the very time that there’s all this mouthing of the word diversity, there is this extremely narrow ideological conformity that is being enforced wherever people have the power to enforce it…

It’s just a question of where that kind of idealism leads. He has launched a despicable attack on a young black professor at the law school who doesn’t go along with this. A young man named Randall Kennedy, who has written a very thoughtful, intelligent article last June in the Harvard Law Review, questioning some of the assumptions that people are making, people like Derrick Bell and doing it in a very gentlemanly as well as very logical way, empirical way, and that’s not what they want. They want the conclusion to be that — they want him to march in lock step and he won’t do it, and they’re doing their best to make life impossible for him.

A mind and a man beyond the times.
