From a search of Google Trends for the term ACORN:

As usual, pay particular attention to the bottom box. That is the “news reference volume.”

Note when interest spiked:

Countrywide Financial, Acorn reach subprime agreement
Conde Nast Portfolio – Feb 11 2008

Officials: FBI investigates ACORN for voter fraud
Examiner.com – Oct 16 2008

7 Pa. ACORN workers facing voter-form charges
Bradenton Herald – May 7 2009

4 former ACORN workers will face trial in Pa.
The Southern Ledger – Jun 5 2009

ACORN sues to overturn Pa. voter-soliciting law
San Francisco Chronicle – Jul 22 2009

Senate votes to deny funds to ACORN
First Coast News – Sep 15 2009

Only long after the fact.

And, totally unrelated….Looking at the adverts on this site now….When did Colin Powell become a doctor?

I love Rush’s descriptions of the MSM clowns .. stenographers (for o-blah-blah & the DNC).

  4. proreason says:

Glenn Beck is the most important person in the country right now.

God bless all of the talk radio, Fox and Internet guys and gals, but Beck is the one who got the pot boiling.

His idea to use the Moron’s quote “to judge me by my advisors” is a stroke of genius.

The odds of Beck being assasinated are pretty high.

He IS the point of the sword of the righteous.
