>In addition to ‘Let It Be’ Preston also worked on the
>‘Abbey Road’ album, contributing to the tracks ‘I
>Want You (She’s So Heavy)’ and ‘Something’.
>He also contributed to ‘The Beatles’ (aka ‘White Album’).

Then Britannica is wrong. Session notes, and extensive work by Mark Lewison detailing all of their sessions, do not show Preston on any sessions other than Get Back.

Canary,as I stated above, your posts are informative and genuine. My intent was not to stick a burr under your saddle. A third rate lib-rag photo shoot is beneath the quality of your past posts. When you help expose what the left is doing to the nation, that is of great service. The photo shoot seems petty to the larger things at hand. Stick to what you have done best. Exposing the left and their agenda. Nuff said.

Didn't realise I'd mentioned any bible verses. I don't look in chicken scratchings. So, taking that to a higher level, I sure noticed that children's book with Obama Jr. with a big 'global balloon" taking him higher above the little people all over the world.
There are easy to find scriptures, that we are to be watchfull, stay alert, and watch for an evil leader that many in the world will turn to, follow and worhip. We are to deny him.

Wirenut, I was just responding to your singing some Michelle song I'd never heard, and this was not a family photo album. The first link was full of pictures of Michelle in today's magazines showing her booty off. Think that shows a bigger picture of where this nation's 1st family mentality is at. Too busy being Exhibitionists, such as Obama's forever mug in our faces. An album photo vs the 1st Family star ongoing photo shoots.

LD, actually he died from metastasized throat cancer that spread to his lungs and brain (and bone I think). I remember reading interviews at the time of George’s first surgery, before he got stabbed by a wacko who broke into his estate, and George himself placed the blame on his smoking habit, even though he claimed to have given it up years before.

I believe he had surgery on his throat and declared himself cured, but it popped up in his lungs a couple of years later. He bought the best cancer treatments possible (obviously chose not to use UK's health care ... hmmmm) but to no avail.

I always wondered about the hypocrisy in people who choose to be vegetarians and then keep on smoking. That was George …

Canary, I find most of your posts informative and genuine, but this is the needle in the haystack. I could find Bible verse in chicken scratchings if I looked hard enough.I believe this is a non-factor. Lord knows what one might find in my family photo album. The big picture is what the first family is doing to the nation. Set your sights a little higher.

OM. looking to see what gang hand sign the white guy standing behind Obama when he told them to get in their neighbor's "faces". Instead I got links in regards to Michelle hand sign on Vogue and Ebony cover. I checked to make sure these were not fake photos. Eerie coincidence or not.

We are going to need the services of "Dr. Robert" to survive TOTUS.

Side two of "Abbey Road": BEST open-highway music (as loud as you can get it) EVER created. Played over and over and over.

sorry, I still love 'em after all these years. Especially George Harrison *Caligirl wipes tears from her eyes* Stupid cigarette smoker!

JMG: I don't advocate anything but laissez-faire capitalism - it got me to where I am today. I just enjoyed the melodies. De gustibus non est disputandum.

Per Michael Jackson: ugh.

12 Gauge, I could not get "Fool On The Hill" out of my head today. As in, Capital Hill.

Day after day,
Alone on the hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still.

And, to me it's strangely poignant. He's surrounded by all his bootlickers and like all of his type, when the fecal-fan interface unit goes into overdrive, they will abandon him and "They won't like him...the fool on the hill"

Much of the song speaks to me as a potential outcome for this president.

Colonel, I have nothing but scorn for them. There was a period of time when they could sell anything they produced. In fact, I vaguely remember Lennon saying just that--that they could turn out any sort of crap and the people would buy it. Did they have talent? Yes. But their attitudes were putrid. The bit about taxes was, indeed, hard hitting on their homeland, but that didn't stop them from trying to foist the same type of policy on the people in the land that made their success possible in the first place. Witness "Imagine", a thinly veiled Communist manifesto of their own making. The music may have been good, but the people delivering it were assholes.

Sorry for the rant, but they were part and parcel of the decay we're seeing today, and they shouldn't be lionized for many of the same reasons Michael Jackson shouldn't have accolades cast his direction.
