    Malia Obama — Forced to Fetch Coffee on Halle Berry’s Show … Welcome to Hollywood!!
    Malia Obama — Can You Spot the Secret Service???
    Sasha Obama Visits ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Set — Goes Hollywood Too

    Malia Obama went to a famous L.A. restaurant Monday night — a restaurant regularly frequented by celebs and paparazzi — and when the White House found out a photog took her pic, they went into DEFCON 1 to KILL the photos.

    The 16-year-old went to Gjelina in Venice, CA with some friends. The photog got the pic as Malia walked out and then sent it to the AKM-GSI agency to sell. The agency posted the pic on its website for media outlets to purchase, but several hours later The First Lady’s Office called AKM-GSI and asked them to please take the pics off the website and delete them from their files.

    Now here’s what’s interesting. Malia has been in L.A. over the last few weeks,
    doing an internship on Halle Berry’s TV show for part of the time.
    Then she showed up at a famous restaurant — Secret Service in tow — with photogs all over the place.

    So is this a case of the President and First Lady taking precautionary action, or is this a concerned famous mom and dad flexing their muscles?

    In May after US Citizen committed suicide bomging, the WH spokeslady said “we” dont’s track US citizens abroad
    that join terrorists or jihadist. With the exception of the one we bombed I guess. Further, while the US has not announced prosecution of citizens who join terrorists and perform Jihadists.

    I’m just glad he killed himself so we don’t bring him back and place him in Gitmo (if he’s lucky) and release him.

    Vatican Sends Emergency Aid to Persecuted Christians in Iraq

    Agence France Press – July 25 2-14

    The Vatican has given $40,000 (30,000 euros) in emergency aid to Christians in Iraq displaced by a jihadist onslaught, religious news agency imedia said Friday.

    Most of the money will go to help those from the northern city of Mosul, where Islamic State insurgents last week ordered the hundreds of Christian families to convert to Islam, pay tribute, or leave the city, prompting thousands to flee.

    The agency said it was “a first gift for persecuted Christians” in the country, suggesting more Vatican funds may be on their way.

    The Islamic State, which last month declared a “caliphate” comprising large swathes of northern Iraq and Syria, has threatened a Christian presence in the region spanning close to two millennia.

    Until their forced exodus over the weekend, Christians had been continuously present in Mosul for about 16 centuries.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    $40,000 dollars is a lot of money to aid thousands of injured, raped, mutilated and starving Christians.
    Perhaps tommorrow more will offer, but other Christian Denominations drop jewelry into the baskets to pay their mega church off.
      I forgot to Warn. Graphic. On “the long war link” above article on muslim extremists bombing mosques and religions after Friday prayers. The article did not mention people dying, but I clicked on to see the bombing and little video’s come on and they show these people all bombed and charred and bloody, and those still moving getting stabbed, kicked, and a lot of sawing on necks.
      There was a torso that couldnt’ have been alive, but he or she got her neck sawed at. Might be like some tribes of Native Americans did a little scalping for pelts, only knife saw marks to show they weren’t civilians.
      And then torturing some guy and slapping him over and over and him yelling arabic for God is great. He may have been a Christian being converted.
      I think “ya ma de” means “we’re number one”.
    So, I figured out most ambulances don’t want to take people to hospitals because Obama care led to major insurance companies adding huge CATASTROPHIC out of pocket deductions and that will lead ambulances with the first bill that won’t get paid.
    Don’t forget the cheapest health care on Obama Care is “Catastrophic” where you only have to pay the first $6000 or $7000 dollars he told students they should at least get that’s a bit over 100 dollars a month as his wife Michelle
    informed that young adults do stupid things.
    So, do not let your children play football because a little accident or bumping of the head and bouncing brain, could end up costing people a fortune.
    I can’t help, but how many people have not checked changes to their health care policies, because most people don’t need an ambulance til they are older.
    It might be a good idea to increase your home insurance too, because you dont’ know who might fall in your yard or
    or whatever since kids run around and skateboard and play football in the streets.
      And old people are going to die because doctors are handing out poker chips with hashtags for people to swipe against something for information. People are really getting ticked off, as people are asked more and more stupid
      questions, all aimed at putting old people in nursing homes where they will surely die.
      And doctors are just milking patients for every penny they can get because of rising costs.
      And the computerized record keeping is getting worse and worse and people are going to die.
    This Day In History
    Jul 27, 1974:
    Nixon charged with first of three articles of impeachmet.
    On this day in 1974, the House of Representatives charges President Richard M. Nixon with the first of three articles of impeachment for obstruction of justice after he refused to release White House tape recordings that contained crucial information regarding the Watergate scandal.
    In June 1972, five men connected with Nixon’s reelection committee, the Committee to Re-elect the President (CREEP), had been caught breaking into the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. A subsequent investigation exposed illegal activities perpetrated by CREEP and authorized by senior members of Nixon’s administration. It also raised questions about what the president knew about those activities. In May 1973, the Senate convened an investigation into the Watergate scandal amid public cries for Nixon’s impeachment. Nixon vigorously denied involvement in the burglary cover-up, most famously in November 1973 when he declared, “I am not a crook.” Although Nixon released some of the tapes requested by the Senate in April 1974, he withheld the most damning of them, claiming executive privilege. On July 24, 1974, the Supreme Court rejected Nixon’s claim of executive privilege and ordered him to turn over the remaining tapes. When he refused to do so, the House of Representatives passed the first article of impeachment against Nixon for obstruction of justice. On August 5, with the impeachment process already underway, Nixon reluctantly released the remaining tapes.
    In May 1974, the House Judiciary Committee began formal impeachment hearings against Nixon. On July 27 of that year, the first article of impeachment against the president was passed. Two more articles, for abuse of power and contempt of Congress, were approved on July 29 and 30. On August 5, Nixon complied with a U.S. Supreme Court ruling requiring that he provide transcripts of the missing tapes, and the new evidence clearly implicated him in a cover up of the Watergate break-in. On August 8, Nixon announced his resignation, becoming the first president in U.S. history to voluntarily leave office. After departing the White House on August 9, Nixon was succeeded by Vice President Gerald Ford, who, in a controversial move, pardoned Nixon on September 8, 1974, making it impossible for the former president to be prosecuted for any crimes he might have committed while in office. .
    On August 8, 1974, Nixon avoided a Senate trial and likely conviction by becoming the first president to resign.
    Only two other presidents in U.S. history have been impeached: Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998.
    Jul 27, 1943:
    Stalin issues Order No. 227—outlawing cowards.
    On this day in 1943, Joseph Stalin, premier and dictator of the Soviet Union, issues Order No. 227, what came to be known as the “Not one step backward” order, in light of German advances into Russian territory. The order declared, “Panic makers and cowards must be liquidated on the spot. Not one step backward without orders from higher headquarters! Commanders…who abandon a position without an order from higher headquarters are traitors to the Fatherland.”
    Jul 27, 2003:
    Bob Hope dies at 100.
    on this day in 2003, the legendary actor-comedian Bob Hope dies at age 100 in Toluca Lake, California. Known for entertaining American servicemen and women for more than five decades, Hope had a career that spanned the whole range of 20th century entertainment, from vaudeville to Broadway musicals to radio, television and movies.
    He was born Leslie Townes Hope, the fifth of seven sons, on May 29, 1903, in Eltham, England. In 1907, Hope’s family moved to Cleveland, Ohio.
    In 1934, Hope wed the nightclub singer Dolores Reade; the marriage would endure until his death.
    He hosted the Academy Awards 18 times, although he never won an Oscar himself, an occurrence he turned into a long-running joke. However, he did receive five special awards from the Academy, including two honorary Oscars. Hope was also a top entertainer on TV and from 1959 to 1996 he made 284 “Bob Hope specials” for NBC.
    Starting with World War II, Hope began entertaining American troops at military bases around the world. His USO tours traveled to military bases during times of war (Vietnam, the Persian Gulf), as well as times of peace. He was so beloved for his work with the military for more than half a century that Congress passed a resolution in 1997 making Hope an honorary veteran. It was one of the countless honors that Hope received throughout his career. In 1998, he was granted honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth.
    USNS Bob Hope (T-AKR-300), the lead ship of her class of vehicle cargo ships for Army vehicle prepositioning, is the only naval ship of the United States to be named for Bob Hope, the entertainer. Very few ships of the United States Navy have been named for a person who was alive at the time of the christening.
    In this week’s address, President Obama told the American people about his speech at Knox College on Wednesday, where he discussed the cornerstones of what it means to be middle class, including having a good job, a home that is your own, quality education, a secure retirement, and affordable health care. While we have laid the foundation for stronger, more durable economic growth, there is more work to be done, and that is why over the coming weeks the President will continue to lay out his plan for growing the economy from the middle out, and create a better bargain for the middle class.
    “You see, over the past four and a half years, America has fought its way back from the worst recession of our lifetimes. We saved the auto industry, took on a broken health care system, invested in new American technologies to reverse our addiction to foreign oil, and changed a tax code too skewed in favor of the wealthiest at the expense of working families.”
    From the Virginia Courier-Journal, via Drudge Report:
    NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – As the Obama administration weans the U.S. off dirty fuels blamed for global warming, energy companies have been sending more of America’s unwanted energy leftovers to other parts of the world where they could create even more pollution. (Perhaps they’ll send some to Newcastle?)
    This fossil fuel trade threatens to undermine President Barack Obama’s strategy for reducing the gases blamed for climate change and reveals a little-discussed side effect of countries acting alone on a global problem. The contribution of this exported pollution to global warming is not something the administration wants to measure, or even talk about. (We need to build more colliers. This will help the depressed shipbuilding industry.)
    “This is the single biggest flaw in U.S. climate policy,” said Roger Martella, the former general counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency under President George W. Bush. (Let’s see them blame Bush for this!)
    Lawsy me!
