Thousands Of Dead On Minn Voter Rolls

From the Minneapolis, MN ABC affiliate KSTP TV:

Group claims thousands of ‘voters’ are deceased

Members of a conservative advocacy group claim they’ve uncovered thousands of votes that were registered in deceased people’s names and say the Secretary of State left them on the voting rolls.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS took the names of a handful of dead voters and tried to find out why they’re listed by the state as having voted and found tired election workers, long hours, and confusing rules may be more to blame than outright fraud.

Julie Webster died in August 2006, but she voted two years later on Nov. 4, 2008. Her widow Henry Webster did not know until 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS told him that Secretary of State Mark Ritchie lists his wife as having voted last fall.

"I’m here to tell you, there’s no malice on my end," he said. "[Election officials and I] had a two-way conversation that my wife had died and that she won’t be coming in. So I wrote deceased."

But an election worker mistakenly counted that as a voter who showed up to cast a ballot.

Dan McGrath with the group Minnesota Majority is critical of the Secretary of State’s office for not removing dead voters from the rolls.

"They can’t possibly know what happened in this election," he said. "There is a systemic problem that is making it impossible to determine whether there’s fraud."

Deputy Secretary of State Jim Gelbmann was shown five dead voters found by Minnesota Majority. The five voters Minnesota Majority provided to us died during the tenure of both a DFL and Republican Secretary of State.

In each case, Gelbmann produced documentation that he says shows mistakes, not fraud, were at fault.

"I would venture—put my reputation on—the fact that there are very few, if any, people impersonating dead people," he said. "You’re going to have human error. We’re doing our best to correct that human error."

The group plans to announce Wednesday that 2,812 dead people may be listed as having voted—either by error or fraud.

Once again, it’s the local media that does actual reporting like this.

After all, why should our mainstream media be interested in voter fraud in Minnesota?

Their man has already ‘won’ his Senate seat.

Shazam! Obama really can raise the dead!

  2. proreason says:

But of course there is no way to determine how the dead people voted, so nothing can be done about this unfortunate slip-up.

      Pro –

Actually there is, but I guarantee MN SOS and AG will do nothing, nor will MN Supreme Court.

Whether paper or electronic – numbers are associated for each vote as a data entry point. By comparing the signed log – you can match up what that person voted for. Now of course – its tricky because a vote should be secret – but in cases like this – gag orders and rules for those “alive” can be implemented – but it can be flushed out through 1 to 1 matching of the person and number on the vote roll. Each district has its own accountancy, which is then officiated, approved and sent off to the state. If, lets say District 1 representing 24,658 votes is tallied – you can go through each voting precinct (school, church, etc) and do a comparison to ensure validity that John Doe, registered in that district, voted in the proper precinct, logged and associated with said number on the “sign in” log.

Fraud occurs in every election – and the only way to know this – is because there is a system in place to catch it. The tired excuse of “long hours, understaffed errors” is pure BS. Remember – both Dems and Reps lined up a few thousand lawyers on the eve of the 2008 election – at a high cost. Instead, that cost could be used for training poll workers (roughly 1.8M short in America). Add in early voting in most states – the “next day tallying” isnt as bad as a high election turnout used to be. Of course the Cloward – Piven tactic is in play here, hence the “long , tired hours” excuse. It also is why the faux “outrage” over Diebold and electronic voting was mustered up with scare tactics after the 2000 election. Electronic voting and data is much more accurate than paper – as to fraud – but the nutroots leveraged “no receipt” as the problem. Ironically – electronic voting uses TCP/IP tech – which is the backbone of our ATM banking systems…. and guess what – banks have been converting from “humans” to “electronic” means of deposit and withdrawl to minimize theft and fraud of human tellers and bank employees.

I have more faith in a piece of software, with a receipt – than a partisian hack of a vote tallyer, lawyer and MSM pouring through the offices.

Lets remember – the whole 2000 Florida fiasco began with reporters combing the post voting precincts and stating, not asking, older folks if “they knew who they voted for because chads were an issue”. It was an intentional strawman, based on the deviance from exit polls, whcih we know – the media can be off as much as 20-30% and btw – is far more illegal and intrusive if you ask me. But again – 2 New Black Panther thugs can hold a bat at a polling place, threaten a camera man filming it, claiming he is “security” – and walk away scot free..

Sorry fo the long winded reply… this issue gets me in a tizzy. And to answer your rhetorical question – I will bet my monthly nut – at least 85% were for Franken.

There are some, like you Odie, who cling to the ways of the past, who continue on with the tired and cynical solutions that have failed over and over again.

And there are many, like the dead voters in Minnesotta, who choose a different path, a path of hope and change.

For those of you, unlike Odie, who choose a new day, just remember this….despite the threats and intimidation of those who dare to deprive our sacred ancestors of their right to vote…..always remember to stand with me and say “Yes they did! Yes they did!! Yes they did!!!”

  3. JulieJ says:

And they probably all voted for Al Franken! What a surprise.

  4. pdsand says:

Yeah I fail to see the point of this. The (dead) people have spoken. These Minnesota Majority people are clearly insane bitter oligarchs.

  5. MinnesotaRush says:

This whole Minnesota election debacle (all of it) infuriates me! I’ve served as an election judge in the past 3 general elections, and did in the very last one as well.

The BS that has gone on is over the top. From the start of the challenge, the premise(s) were seriously flawed.

For example, if the polls followed prescribed closing procedures and ballot handling, there is NO way for boxes of ballots turning up in somebody’s car trunk weeks after the election that JUST HAPPENED to have thousands of votes for liberal al, and 1 or 2 for Coleman.

And then, for any court to allow those “just found” ballots (that were outside of any prudent and proper custody) to be allowed is potentially diabolical.

IF those ballots were genuine, their absence should’ve been recognized when the ballots were turned in. ALL counts HAVE TO BALANCE at the poll, and again when they’re received/returned.

And it goes on from there.

If this vote goes to lib al (and it seems likely it will), an election will have been stolen.

I work in OH as a poll worker (haven’t gotten up to judge yet, but I’m just starting) and we have a close time – unless death, car accident, or (idiot) unplugged machine before tally – there is no excuse for missing the deadline. Our ballot numbers have to match – meaning the packs we are given match up 100% with the # of used ones in the box added to the # of discarded ones (soiled) in a bag.

I can not understand why the residents of MN are not screaming for this crappola to stop – how anyone on either side does not realize that in the end – every single legal voter/citizen loses when an election is stolen or fraudulent is beyond me. Just because ‘your’ guy wins this time – does not mean that the next time your side will be the victim.

I do think however, that the whole selected not elected and stolen election screed for the 8 years of Bush was to numb everyone into a stupor so that they could actually steal and election – and look what we got – Dumb and Dumber – Obama and Franken.

Of course if they weren’t so damn busy teaching the Liberal version of tolerance and maybe gave a few civics lessons – more people would give a damn.

  6. Liberals Demise says:

    Error?
Are they all for Frankenstein? (is Barry a true, blue mudslime?)

Any wonder why the Conservatives are running to the immediate right and covering their asses?

The election before this one, I messed up on the ballet. I went back to the table, and told them I needed another one. This was the kind you fill in arrow, and then when done you take the ballot and slide it into a machine. Well, the one man, that took it, and handed me another, I stood there, to see what he did with it.
And he laid it down somewhere behind him, and I said, I need you to destroy it, and he said, I’ll take care of it. And I said, no I want to see you do it.
There has got to be a new way to vote fairly. It just occured to me, that we tell our name, and they go through this big log and you sign it. But, as far as those that don’t vote, what stops them from taking a form, filling it out and sticking it in the machine. (the little booths are just for privacy. Not like the old ones where you pull levers. I think they need to make it strictor. Prehaps not give notice too far in advance, (so illegals can’t get fake ID’s) It’s really too easy to cheat. We don’t even have to show our voting card or license. Just tell them your name and it’s on these big books. It was lawyers that saw I believe in florida, the workers pulling chads to screw Bush. Vidio camera’s.
It’s kind of like the bad guys will get guns if they are outlawed, while the law abiding will follow. The cheaters will cheat, while those that don’t won’t.

  8. BigOil says:

So the Secretary of State’s office – led by an ACORN nut – has confirmed ‘human errors’ in the election tally. I assume they will now intercede in the ongoing court case in the Minnesota Supreme court to ensure the dead vote is culled out.

After all, Coleman led after the original recount. Only after adding previously excluded absentee ballots – deemed wrongfully excluded due to human errors – did Frankfurter take the lead.

Coleman should fight this travesty all the way to the US Supreme court.

    • GL0120 says:

TCO has already anticipated that, hence the nomination of Sotomayer.
Once TCO has finished packing the court, the last obstacle to his successful dismantling of the U.S. will be gone.

  9. 12 Gauge Rage says:

The dem’s are only honing their skills of election fraud. That way they’ll always have the votes to keep them in power. Their unscrupulous behavior only re-enforces the old saying that power corrupts.

  10. navymom says:

The story didn’t say, but I would be willing to bet, all the dead voted Democrat.

    • Liberals Demise says:

      BINGO!!!!

    • jobeth says:

      “all the dead ”

Aren’t they the ones running the elections anyway?….Oh wait…they are so hard to tell apart from the ACORN group.

I keep forgetting…ACORN is only BRAIN DEAD….not really dead….easy mistake.
