Clinton-ista John Podesta Calls For Single Payer

From the Washington Free Beacon:

Top Clinton Aide Podesta Calls for Single Payer Health Care

November 14, 2013

Clinton confidante John Podesta came out as another critic of Obamacare just moments after President Barack Obama finished his tense press conference announcing changes to the law.

Podesta remarked on Twitter that it just took him only five minutes to apply online for Medicare, a clear contrast with the disaster that individuals attempting to sign up for Obamacare have faced.

Podesta tweeted: "Just applied online for Medicare. Took 5 minutes. Single payer anyone?"

Given that Podesta is practically joined at the hip to Hillary (see below), it is safe to say that this means Hillary also backs ‘single payer.’ (Which, in view of Hillary-Care, is no surprise.)

Podesta is reportedly in discussions to take over the leadership of super PAC Priorities USA as it prepares to transition into full support of Hillary Clinton’s potential 2016 run for president.

This is Hillary’s main PAC. (It is separate from the ‘Ready For Hillary’ PAC, discussed in the story below. Though the two are working together.)

Podesta formerly served as chief of staff to Bill Clinton during his presidency, and has had a role with the Clinton family foundation as well.

Naturally, Mr. Podesta is getting money funneled to him via the Clinton Foundation. All of the Clintons’ ‘friends’ are. But the WFB fails to note that Podesta ran Obama’s transition team in 2008.

They also neglect to point out that Podesta is also the President and CEO of the Democrat propaganda site, the Center For American Progress, which the news media pretends is an important think tank. In fact, Podesta was hand-picked for the job by CAP founders George Soros and Morton H. Halperin.

And Mr. Podesta was just in the news this week.

From the Politico:

John Podesta at ‘Ready for Hillary’

By MAGGIE HABERMAN | November 12, 2013

Longtime Bill Clinton adviser John Podesta joined the crowd at a “Ready for Hillary” reception in Manhattan on Tuesday night, capping a daylong event in which the group offered briefings to supporters on its activities and a framework for its strategies.

Podesta, Clinton’s former chief of staff, who now leads a new income inequality project at the Center for American Progress, the think tank he co-founded, was among the attendees at the reception at Le Parker Meridien hotel in Midtown.

Where the rates are especially un-equal.

Earlier in the day, dozens of donors and potential fundraisers heard presentations from Democratic pollster Geoff Garin, who just finished work on the Terry McAuliffe campaign for governor in Virginia; Media Matters founder David Brock; Democratic strategist Tracy Sefl; and former Obama campaign battleground states director Mitch Stewart…

What a delightful crowd.

I’m here to tell you my brothers and sisters, Obamacare is merely the Trojan Horse for single payer. O-care is going to (deliberately) be so terrible that Obama is going to go on TV and say “f**k it, we need to overhaul this and I think the best way to do it is by government takeover”.

    Easy peasy, nice and easy!

Brush your teeth and eat your broccoli!

If single payer is so great why to people flock her from Canada on medical tourism? Also just look at the mess that is the VA system. If the goverment bureaucrats can’t even get that to work halfway right how is nationalizing all of healthcare going to be even better?

Remember, once we have single payer, if you’re not covered, you die.

how are any of the PACs mentioned in this article are actually 501(c)3 eligible? you know, prohibited from endorsing a political party or candidate… I personally believe that the empty suits in the GOP house need to walk completely away from all things having to do with helping O’care stay afloat and start hearings on that s**t !!!!
elitist republicans are no better than democrats.

and by the way- pederast’s (excuse me, I mean podesta) 5 minutes to “apply” for care wasn’t the big problem, so it wasn’t really a “clear contrast” to anything. just more propaganda. filling in an online form was not the huge roadblock most people had. it was moving beyond that where the jam-up occurred.

—–very important to remember—— step 1 is to enter ALL of your important information, THEN you start trying to navigate thru the system…….. oh the gubmint made sure they got ALL your vital info in their storage banks. after that, WGAS?

It’s always been a given Obama care was meant to become federal health care. Obama and Hillary did debate National and Universal health care. I’m still ticked at the media for not reporting that Obama wrote in 2006 we could not afford a health care system because of the wars Bush dragged us in. Heh. From a man who aids radical muslims to take over countries.

Now Obama has given into Iran in unprecedented history, just so he can lie to the people and say he resolved relations.

The idea is that if Michello runs, people will figure Obama is working the puppet strings.
