In case you missed the live stream from Trinity Church yesterday, here are some highlights from the sermon “How To Survive A Public Lynching,” by Mr. Wright’s replacement, the Reverend Otis Moss, III:
How To Survive A Public Lynching
III (aye, yi, yi) is right.

Didn’t Clarence Thomas mention lynching?
Does anyone have a recollection of how Trinity UCC felt about Clarence Thomas?

Here is part of an answer to my question:
http://unitedchurchofchrist.bl.....homas.html
“During the Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas leaders of the United Church of Christ were active in opposing his confirmation.”

U NO HOO; During the confirmation hearings Thomas, being on the verge of withdrawing his name due to the ordeal he was going through, uttered the words “this is a high-tech lynching”. The passage can be found on page 273 of Thomas’ book “My Grandfather’s Son”.
…..”That is the point that I’m trying to make. And that is the point that I was making last night, that this is a high-tech lynching. I cannot shake off these accusations because they play to the worst stereotypes we have about black men in this country.”……..
Speaking of that book, it would do well for everyone here to read this book and compare it to Obama’s book(s). The differences revealed are monumental, if for no other reason than to contrast the background of both men as far as wealth and privelege is concerned, and expose what is possible for Americans of any background to achieve regardless of that background. It is also an expose’ of the individuals involved and the character traits of each. I find it unfortunate that Obama’s books recieve so much hype and Thomas’ book goes largely ignored. The differences in the two men and what they have gleaned from life’s experiences are of epic proportions.

The new hate-speech from “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright’s replacement, “Reverend” Otis Moss III, demonstrates that this Barack Hussein Obama lie about “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright’s background being “tough” does matter because “Reverend” Otis Moss III is too young to have experienced anything except indoctrination by “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright.
