Polls: Less-educated whites hurt Obama
A CLINTON ADVANTAGE OVER OBAMA IN NOVEMBER, THOUGH MCCAIN DOES BEST OF ALL
According to an Associated Press-Yahoo News poll in April, the certain Republican presidential nominee John McCain would get more votes than Hillary Rodham Clinton from white voters who have not finished college, 43 percent to 30 percent. Barack Obama would do even worse than Clinton, trailing McCain with this group 44 percent to 22 percent. McCain has a 23-percentage point lead against Clinton among whites who have graduated college, but just an eight-point margin over Obama with that group.
DEMOCRATIC CONTEST TAKES ITS TOLL
Obama was viewed unfavorably in April by 53 percent of whites without college degrees, up from 41 percent in November’s AP-Yahoo poll. Clinton’s negative ratings with that group have not really changed, but have not gotten better, either. Fifty-seven percent of these voters had unfavorable views of Clinton in November, and 55 percent did in April. McCain’s negative views from them sat at 32 percent both months.
HOW RACE AND EDUCATION AFFECT THE RACE
Exit polls of voters in last month’s Pennsylvania Democratic primary show the impact of racial attitudes. Forty-seven percent of whites without college degrees who said race was an important factor in choosing a candidate said they would vote for Obama in an Obama-McCain matchup, with 29 percent saying they would back McCain and 20 percent saying they would not vote. Obama gets the votes of 62 percent of whites who have not finished college who said race was not a factor.
Among white college graduates, 69 percent who said race is a factor said they would vote for Obama. Eighty-one percent who said race is not important would back him…
YES, IT’S A PROBLEM
Other surveys also illustrate Obama’s problem with less-educated white voters. A poll released last week by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center showed that Clinton’s lead over Obama among whites who have not completed college, which was 10 percentage points in March, has grown to 40 points. And another by Quinnipiac University showed that while Clinton tied Republican candidate John McCain among these voters in Florida and had slight leads in Ohio and Pennsylvania, McCain had sizable leads over Obama with them in Florida and Ohio and a smaller one in Pennsylvania.
Notice how the AP assures us that “yes, it’s a problem.” Meanwhile, 92% of the black vote going to Obama is not a problem.
Odd, isn’t it?
But of course it really is a shame that stupid white people are allowed to vote.
Something should be done about that.

William Ayers is going to make sure all students are properly Indoctrinated

My guess is William Ayers will be the head Educator no matter whether Hillary or Obama win. He will make sure there are no “less-indoctrinated white people” in America.

As someone entrenched in a public university system I take offense that this journalist would call those who don’t have a college degrees “less-educated”. It has been while in college that I have met some of the least educated people of my life. Just reading this website for a term is far more educational than 4 hours a week lectures and Wikipedia copy and pasted papers that actually pass for decent college work these days!
If I was running for POTUS I would be proud to have these “les-educated” white folks behind me; from such as these the republic prospers.

As someone who never went to college and only has a GED, I feel that I am more informed and educated than any of these snotty nosed, left wing, America hating, indoctrinated skulls full of mush will ever hope to be.
If voting for conservatives makes me a “dumbass” in the minds of elite journalists then I will wear it as my badge of honor.
I took my lessons at the feet of the masters. My professors, Wm. F. Buckley, Jr., Rush Limbaugh and countless others have schooled me so well that even the most well hidden left wing lie sticks out from the page as if it were sculpted there.
The fact is, that anyone with an ounce of logic can see through their kaleidoscope of lies as easily as a teenage boy peering through the keyhole of the local strip club.
It’s the left who rely on the undereducated, ignorant and misled to continuously vote them into power. These tragic figures care not what the policies are, but only hope of insuring their monthly payoff in the form of welfare.
Worse even than those are the elites of culture, power and money who hope only to be on the “A” list of invitations to the latest Washington ball.
It’s really sad that what our founders gave us with their blood, sweat and tears seems all too fragile and easily subverted.
This will not stand my friends because there are more of us than them and when properly motivated our side wins hands down every time. The other side cannot win the debates. They cannot pass laws or policies against the will of the people, but they always seem to find a sympathetic judge to enforce what they know they cannot achieve through this mostly Christian and still moral electorate.
There would be no abortion, gay marriage, lack of prayer in schools and many other evil doctrines without the lefts control of the judiciary of our great land and we are nearly half way to solving this problem.
This is what we must keep our eyes on. The prize is that we gain the White House for at least two more terms to ensure that the judiciary is swayed to our point of view and this will bring an end to their tyranny of tort.

This percentage jump noted by the AP is totally absurd.

Well of course since a lot of the s**t has hit the ban about Obama since well after November, it’s easy to see why his unfavorable jumped 12 points. Had the MSM hit upon Rev. Wrong sooner, along with Obama’s ties to dubious people, Billary would have had the Democrat nomination locked up months ago. It just took a while for the fragile window dressing to become unraveled so more people now are seeing what a phony Obama really is.
I’d like to see an AP-Yahoo poll of the 92% of blacks that are voting for Obama and ask them how many of them believe Rev Wrong’s stories about the CIA inventing AIDS and other such non-sense that has been spouted. Divide the poll into educated and uneducated and put the shoe on the other foot.

(92% right and it’s not a RACE issue - can you imagine the blah blah if the poll said 92% of whites are not voting for Obama?)
Anyway, I heard on either cnn or Fox several days ago a report on just this question. i don’t seem to be able to find the right keywords to find it…but a 2005 study is everywhere.
According to a 2005 study of black beliefs about AIDS:
* Half of blacks believe the AIDS virus is man-made.
* One quarter think it was fabricated in a government laboratory.
* Twelve percent think it was spread by the CIA.
* Fifteen percent believe AIDS is a form of genocide against blacks.
* Forty-four percent think the government is withholding the cure for AIDS from poor people.
