U Of TX Offers Grad Course In O-Care Enrollment

From the Daily Caller:

Obamacare enrollment so difficult it gets its own grad course

By Sarah Hurtubise | October 28, 2013

Enrolling in Obamacare may be more difficult than anybody thought.

The University of Texas at Austin’s spring 2014 course offerings include a graduate course on navigating Obamacare exchange enrollment.

So the University of Texas thinks that negotiating the exchanges is so difficult it has to be a graduate course.

The university’s LBJ School of Public Affairs will give aspiring PhD students academic credit for examining the Obamacare enrollment process.

That is, they are offering a doctorate to anyone who can explain to them how Obama-Care is supposed to work.

The Public Affairs department aspires to “improving the quality of public service in the United States.” Presumably taking a deeper look at how consumers can manage to navigate HealthCare.gov will further the improvement of Obamacare as a public program.

The class, entitled “Enrolling in Health Insurance Through the Affordable Care Act: An Austin Case Study,” will take a look at the Texas experience through the federally run exchange at HealthCare.gov.

The 60000-level course corresponds to a second-year graduate course — because of course, the enrollment process meant for the average American can only be understood by someone with five or more years of higher level education under their belt…

And yet we are supposed to believe ACORN and SEIU ‘navigators’ with little or no actual training are going to be able to help us?

  1. And what exactly do you do with a post graduate degree in Obamacare? Get a job as a navigator? Yeah, kids expecting to walk out of college into a 6 figure paycheck will be smacked with the reality that being an Obamacare navigator is the only job that they are qualified to hold.

I have a post graduate degree in website navigation, with a minor in state run healthcare. You want fries with that?
