What’s next, taxpayer funded police courses that dress female officers in burqas and niqabs (full face covered in black cloth ) to promote “cultural awareness?” Yep, they did that.

Ok….how about mandating headscarves for female police who enter mosques? Again, the British government tried to pull the crap – and added a optional hijab to the uniform.

How about banning American and European conservatives who are critical of radical Islam from entering Britain while allowing in Islamic supremacists? Already did it (see Geert Wilders, Michael Savage, etc).

How about allowing 85 shariah courts to operate an alternate system of justice outside of British law? (one case: woman in full burqa had to prove to an imam that she was being beaten in order to secure an Islamic divorce). Yep, they pulled that $*#& too.

Don’t be surprised if Britain goes Islamic in 50 years, if only to appear tolerant to its adversaries before it dies a slow death from government coddling. Liberalism typically means bashing whichever Western group (and their values) happen to be the dominant force in the country, replacing the vacuum with whatever new (or ancient) anti-West philosophy comes along. The tolerance, multiculturalism, world-mindedness, whatever is just surface glitz.

In the liberal mind everyone is a victim, except conservatives in a majority group. Only groups may be threatened – individuals are only as important as the racial / gender / religious group they adhere to. Islam is the new victim in the liberal utopia now that gays, women, and third world communist countries have been exploited by the left as “victims” by the West. Prepare for academia to create courses teaching the “anatomy of the Western hegemony in the Middle East” or “Islamic sustenance: powerful archetypes of women in ancient Mecca” blah blah blah. I can already imagine the academics leeching onto this next great field of oratory dribble, now that feminist theory has left a dry taste in their mouths. A few months ago I visited an online board where an Egyptian Islamic male defend female genital mutilation by claiming that “traditional Western views placing sexual emphasis on the clitoris” were incorrect. Ugh. Waiting for some similar Islamo-fascist defenses in liberal dressing to hit the classrooms…
