Yes, we give the foreigners more than their due rights in court, a fair trial and yet when found guilty - suddenly the liberal whinners of the world cry foul. Where are these same people standing up for Israelis being kidnapped and held (without any foreign interaction to prove that they are alive and being cared for) for the release of criminals? Or Americans held in foreign jails on bogus charges without benefit of council, found guilty in kangaroo courts and sentenced to horrendous sentences without the 'consular assistance'? I'm about to demand the US stop sending funding to 90% of the World and let them see what it is like to stand on their own without us providing 'aid'. Of course we'd have to bring our people home, so that they would not become hostages in the resulting backlash of anger at America stopping their financial bennies.
