And why exactly does anyone think that this ‘gal pal’ deserves one single cent of his estate? Or be in the will – isn’t that akin to prostitution?

Cronkite spent 64 years with his wife & family – he spent 4 with the ‘gal pal’ – only a bunch of hypocritical liberals would think of leaving the new ‘gal pal’ out of the will as unfair. To me it is simple – she wasn’t there when he earned it – she does not deserve a piece of it. At. All.

Leave it to liberals to equate everything into money. Relationships are not about love, sex, emotions, feelings or commitment – but rather about what money you can get from it. But always and most especially – someone else’s money

In the recent past, Joanna Simon (69) is reported to have established a relationship with now-deceased broadcast journalist Walter Cronkite, who stated in an interview for the New York Post in January 2006: “We are keeping company, as the old phrase used to be. I’m not making any moves immediately. I don’t think it’s proper. My wife has only been gone less than a year. I’ll wait until that year has passed, at least.” Walter Cronkite’s wife Betsy had died on March 15, 2005, aged 89. In 2007, Joanna Simon was described in the press as Cronkite’s “girlfriend.”

Guess Cronkite’s family kept a close eye on his estate planning.
