    Oh my, no wonder we are in such dire states as a country. How can someone be a part of Congress and be totally ignorant of how the banking system works and how their directives got US into this mess in the first place. She reminds me of the loony aunt you have to talk to at family reunions. Your glad it’s just once a year and you hope she’s been taking her meds.

    I’m just glad that we are not doing anything really foolish like passing a “Stimulus” plan. After all, most recessions last 16 months and that means if we do NOTHING, we’ll be out of it this summer!

    This woman is a complete bufoon. I’ve always been embarrassed for African Americans when I hear her speak. You can see her brain-by-proxy rush in to grab her mic before she divulges their secrets to the CSPAN audience like she did when she ‘grilled’ the oil executives last year.

    Her ugliness is exceeded only by her stupidity.

      Brad, I hope you are not implying that those of us who have children who are retarded are married to our half siblings or cousins. I don’t think these people are retarded (just stupid welfare bums who don’t want to do anything but sit on their mac & cheese behinds, smoke dope and watch tv all day) but I do know some people who had their DS children who were of age vote for Obama (how they got around that I do not know and I did make a complaint). These losers who vote for Waters and the others are representative of that rogues gallery that was at the Messiah’s Town Halls this past week. There are a lot of stupid people in this country but that’s because they want to be stupid, welfare, grab a$$ bums. Those who are born retarded cannot help their condition. But the liberals always tell me I could have “prevented” this problem, while I wish their parents would have prevented them from being born but I don’t say that to them.

      I married a woman who had a DS uncle. I loved him, and as anyone who has any deeper acquiantance of DS people knows, they have more heart and soul than most of us. Maxine Waters is an angry witch, and she could do with a dose of DS, methinks.

      Brad, I’m sure you know it, but in an effort to clean up this playroom we call S&L a bit, (as Barack would say) let’s be clear: while the illegitimate rate in the African American community is at 70%, that does not mean that African Americans are having “retarded” babies.

    The comments on this video are very humorous, and thanks for that because…..

    When you reflect on this woman’s contemptible performance seriously, it is genuinely frightening to think that people like her now have real power over our lives.

    The desire for revenge is oozing out of every pore of her body. She is actually trembling with eagerness to stick it to these men, who can do nothing but sit and take it, because unlike her, they are responsible to their share holders and can be recalled from their positions for one small mis-step. Look at her gleeful triumph as she lords her power over them for ignoring her childish demands in the past. You know she wants to shout out “Who’s stupid now, big powerful rich men? Who’s on top now? We beat you, and now we are going to punish you like you have never been punished before.”

    Although I do my best to hide it, some of you may have read between the lines that I am not 100% respectful of Barack Obama.

    But if the people like Maxime Waters somehow manage to gain the power of the presidency, it would make the regime of Comrade Moron seem like a Sunday stroll in the park.

Why doesn’t Miss Waters take into account the irresponsibility of a lot of Americans into taking out more credit cards that they had no way of paying back. Nobody holds a gun to your head to make you sign on the dotted line to accept a credit card and it’s conditions. Proreason, these people are already tapped into the power of the presidency and are using these hearings to hone their skills of ruthlessness against those they dislike.

    I dont know where to post this….but at two this afternoon, Clarence “Bob” Dawson of the 242nd Infantry, Rainbow Div. Wounded combat Veteran passed away. He was a good man….and American. These people in these hearings owe their ability to be stupid to his sacrifice against tyranny. I dont know, I am just saddened by his passing. Another of the greatest generation is gone……..I’ll shut up now.

      My favorite exchange was MW hammering them about fees – poor dear couldn’t comprehend the banks paid them to underwriters.

      I am still confused by the “predatory lending” quotes from congressmen in general. Unlike the government, a bank can’t put a gun to your head and make you do something (like take out a loan). Personal responsibility obviously is not part of the congressional repertoire of blame.

    Maxime was a teacher for the resoundingly successful Head Start program before being annointed as an affirmative action congressman.

    She somehow managed to escape high school with a diploma, but never attempted such gymnastiacs in the labyrinth of college, since when she attended, professors expected students to speak in complete sentences with proper tenses and grammer.

    One has to acknowlege that the financial industry has become astonisingly complex and technical.

    Maxime appears well qualified to put a stop to THAT.

    I know how we could get a measure of relief from these folks: Tell them we are lobbying Israel to take over, permanently, all the lands they have not yet given back from the 1967 war. The reason: We are wanting to relocate to Israel and need the land to resettle. Could you imagine how angry Waters, et al, would be? This would be our trump card to keep them from totally disenfranchising us. The only thing they hate more than us is Israel. If Israel will agree, I will lead Hebrew and Yiddish classes!
