The leniency by the government regarding this political hack job just astounds me. IMHO, this is one of the major problems we have with our government at nearly every level. Excluding the military, far too many of our government workers show an obvious disdain for something as simple as ethics.

Say you worked for corporation XYZ and you got caught releasing private or proprietary information about an individual on the internet on company time. Do you really think your employer would just suspend you for a short period? Hell no, you would be shown the door immediately with a boot up you a** for good measure.

Hey, maybe my expectations are a bit high but this is just utter BS.

That is, other than that you can’t be fired, get the best pension in the world (at taxpayer expense) that adjusts for inflatiion, never work overtime, don’t have to be qualified, get to ignore customer service, have no competition, get guaranteed raises, and get to accrue vacation time forever.
