WH Sets Up New Website: Reality Check

And here is still more agit-prop from our White House, via an email promoting their newest website (at this hour), Reality Check:

Dear Friend,

Anyone that’s watched the news in the past few days knows that health insurance reform is a hot topic — and that rumors and scare tactics have only increased as more people engage with the issue. Given a lot of the outrageous claims floating around, it’s time to make sure everyone knows the facts about the security and stability you get with health insurance reform.

That’s why we’ve launched a new online resource — WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck— to help you separate fact from fiction and share the truth about health insurance reform. Here’s a few of the reality check videos you can find on the site:

There’s more information and a number of online tools you can use to spread the truth among your family, friends and other social networks. Take a look:

We knew going into this effort that accomplishing comprehensive health insurance reform wasn’t going to be easy. Achieving real change never is. The entrenched interests that benefit from the status quo always use their influence in Washington to try and keep things just as they are.

But don’t be misled. We know the status quo is unsustainable. If we do nothing, millions more Americans will be denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions, or see their coverage suddenly dropped if they become seriously ill. Out-of-pocket expenses will continue to soar, and more and more families and businesses will be forced to deal with health insurance costs they can’t afford.

That’s the reality.

Americans deserve better. You deserve a health care system that works as well for you as it does for the status quo; one you can depend on — that won’t deny you coverage when you need it most or charge you crippling out-of-pocket co-pays. Health insurance reform means guaranteeing the health care security and stability you deserve.

President Barack Obama promised he’d bring change to Washington and fix our broken, unsustainable health insurance system. You can help deliver that change.Visit WhiteHouse.gov/RealityCheck, get the facts and spread the truth. The stakes are just too high to do nothing.

Thank you,

David Axelrod
Senior Advisor to the President

From Mr. Astroturf, David Axelrod, himself.

They are as relentless as they are mendacious.

Do you have to work this hard selling something that the people want?

Do you have to work so hard proving you are not lying if what you are saying it actually the truth?

(Thanks to Zach for the heads up.)

    Get rid of insurance altogether.

Anybody who’s had a teenager, or a spouse with an uncontrollable buying habit knows …. spending other people’s money ALWAYS goes out of control.

The Reality Check we will have to have is hard but simple. Pay our own way for what we get. It’s called free market competition for our dollars. It works every time to drive down costs and skyrocket quality and fatten profits. Which is why I suspect the most stupendous, gargantuan and cunning scam and con being run on us, right now.

The two choices being shouted for are Socialized, Single Payer, Government Hand Out Medicine … or … the status quo. Qui Bono? Who benefits.

Everybody but you. Either way, you lose. Either way, they win.

You cannot deny that insurance companies are now our collective enemy. Pay Pay Pay, and then you get about 10% of what you paid for. Most hospitals are atrocious dens of contagions and frightening inattention to patient care but slavish devotion to record keeping. Doctors and medical practices are sickening hives of craziness with intrusive forms, civil servants in miniature and costs up the ying yang demanded by doctors who are being literally raped by their insurance costs.

We’re all toxic to one another. The solutions being argued for are (1) Federal Government Tyranny over your health or (2) a continuing hellish descent into the madness of politically correct hospitals, rancid medical practices and insurance companies who rule you without any payback.

Look … free market competition has so lowered the cost of trillion dollar moonshot space flight that I can put a half pound satellite into geo-stationary orbit from Tonga for a mere $8,000. Burt Rutan pierced the ionosphere for under a million riding on nitrous oxide and ground rubber. Jesse James broke the land speed record for hydrogen fueled internal combustion engines for under $2 million and in the process has engineered a method of converting any IC engine to hydrogen fuel, which Quantum Technologies has doped out how to store and use safely. Several ways. Ten years ago who could have imagined a computer in your hand like the iPhone? And plastic cosmetic surgery has so dropped in price due to competition to the point of almost pocket change.

    All because of competition.

Neither argument in the ‘healthcare’ shouting sessions address the fundamental corruption.

Health Care is not a competitive free market. It is everything but. The government and insurance companies have already so buggered the system, free market honest competition is almost impossible. Whichever way this argument goes … you’re screwed.

I urge all of us to agitate for honest to God, no holds barred free market competition. And ridding ourselves of the scourge of insurance.

But here’s why I consider this the con job of the century … NO ONE WANTS THAT.

I’m looking at the Tavistock Institute of London as the strategy partner of whoever is pulling the strings on this … it’s pioneering work in behavioral dynamics was commanded by Dr. Sigmund Freud. The ideology of American foundations was created by the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London. In 1921, the Duke of Bedford, Marquess of Tavistock, the 11th Duke, gave a building to the Institute to study the effect of shellshock on British soldiers who survived World War I. Its purpose was to establish the “breaking point” of men under stress, under the direction of the British Army Bureau of Psychological Warfare, commanded by Sir John Rawlings-Reese.

Tavistock Institute is headquartered in London. Its prophet, Sigmond Freud, settled in Maresfield Gardens when he moved to England. He was given a mansion by Princess Bonaparte. Tavistock’s pioneer work in behavioral science along Freudian lines of “controlling” humans established it as the world center of foundation ideology.

Controlling humans. Behavioral science. You do know the Democrats’ think tanks are lavish contributors to Tavistock, don’t you?

Controlling the debate is what’s going on, in my opinion. because the one sure way to get everybody top quality healthcare we can afford out-of-pocket regardless of our station or income is … to set free market dynamics loose with a fierce vengeance. If we had true free markets, a gall bladder removal would by now be $500 and performed outpatient. Probably less. And the cure for diabetes is already here, understood by a group of Chinese doctors in British Columbia who didn’t know they weren’t supposed to figure it out and then compete against the established profit centers. (See Eastwood Companies)

Everywhere free market competition reigns, prices plummet, profits shoot up and quality blossoms to its fullest.

And that … is not in these debates.

Which is why I’m sure the whole thing is being stage managed so that we have a choice between Hell One or Hell Two.

Either way this goes, your money is going to drain into someone else’s pockets.

Your money. Which the markets ought to be competing for.

Insurance is one of 4 core problems. Today’s health insurance is primarilly a method to eliminate competition among medical providers and make it more difficult for people to change jobs.

The other core problems are malpractice lawsuits, government-enforced anti-competitive measures, and the astonishing advances in medical technology.

Insurance, malpractice lawsuits, and anti competitive measures can be fixed with the stroke of a pen, and at a cost that approaches zero.

What fool would try to prevent the 4th core “problem”: advances in medical technology?

So what is the Morons’ plan?
      – nationalize medical insurance and increase dependency
      – increase malpractice lawsuits by ignoring that problem
      – reduce medical competion by driving private insurers out of business and prrice fixing for medical providers
      – stop medical advances cold

Satan couldn’t come up with a more disastrous approach.

But, of course, we know that this isn’t about improving Health Care. It’s about destroying the country. So in that sense, the plan would be a huge success

Single payer does work best, I pay for me and you pay for you.

Anyone ever heard of charity, around here I’d call the local Lions Club if I had a problem or knew of someone with a problem, ANY problem, the Lions would be there in an instant to help.

    Quick Vote
Town-hall protests over health care are:
Being orchestrated by lobbyists 55% 96356
Ordinary citizens expressing their opinions 45% 77305
    Total Votes: 173661

I stand by my previous assertion that people are getting dumber.

ROBERT REICH: How the White House’s Deal With Big Pharma Undermines Democracy. It’s not about democracy. “It’s bad enough when industry lobbyists extract concessions from members of Congress, which happens all the time. But when an industry gets secret concessions out of the White House in return for a promise to lend the industry’s support to a key piece of legislation, we’re in big trouble. That’s called extortion: An industry is using its capacity to threaten or prevent legislation as a means of altering that legislation for its own benefit. And it’s doing so at the highest reaches of our government, in the office of the President.”

In answer to a question on Social Security, Obama threatened wounded soldier’s health care, and extending the age before the elderly can recieve medicare. This verbal threat, was “after” Obama’s first threat of forcing wounded soldiers to get their own health care, in which DAV posted a strong letter and Republicans Senators warned Obama it would be a cold day…don’t tread there.

The most tired, pathetic, unctuous canard served up with a heaping side of mendacity: the”or do nothing” sleight of hand. That is always the false alternative offered up by these liars, a sure sign of insincerity and/or ignorance. As if anyone that disagrees wants “to do nothing”. Hardly….

  9. MinnesotaRush says:

These diabolical deceptionists have gone from naming their thieving project “Universal Health Care” to “Health Care for All” to “Health Care Reform” to Health Insurance Reform” to who knows what next!?!?

So what is it?!?!? What is it really?!?!?!?

I am absolutely convinced at this point, this shell game has NOTHING to do with health care and everything to do with continuiing to deliver death blows to this country, move us closer to Martial Law, and empty out the Treasury.

These Marxists .. these Statists .. these Trojan Horses .. these domestic terrorists .. are attempting to destroy America as she is and has been, and remake it into God knows what!

They have vaporized the Rule of Law! They have shattered and undermined Industry and Capitalism. They have bankrupted us for generations; and now, they are pitting American against American – dividing us!

They (and o-blah-blah) don’t have a plan other than to spread chaos and confusion! Hell .. they can’t even figure out what to call this debacle!

We need to continue to stand up to these bast_ards and get them out of office as soon as we reasonably can!

Either they are beyond utterly stupid; or, they are executing their plan to destroy America extremely well!

God Bless America .. God Bless all us honest Americans!!!
