WH To Hold ‘Closed Door’ Session On Bi-Sexuals

From the Washington Post:

White House to hold closed-door session on bisexual issues next month

By Juliet Eilperin | August 22, 2013

The White House will hold a closed-door roundtable discussion on issues facing bisexuals Sept. 23.

"Closed door"? Why don’t they come out of the closet with it?

But, clearly the problems facing bisexuals are among the foremost issues facing our nation. Not the economy. Not the lack of jobs. Not the Middle East going up in flames. Not the phony scandals of Benghazi, not the IRS or NSA.

The White House needs to discuss "the issues facing bisexuals."

The event, described in an invitation by White House LGBT liaison Gautam Raghavan as a session focused on “issues of importance to the bisexual community,” was first reported Thursday by the Washington Blade.

Why does the White House even have a "LGBT liaison"? Do they have a heterosexual liaison? A Tea Party liaison?

“Participants and administration officials will discuss a range of topics including health, HIV/AIDS, domestic and intimate partner violence, mental health and bullying,” Raghavan wrote.

Ah so. Now we know why it’s going to be conducted behind ‘closed doors.’

A White House confirmed Thursday the event will take place, but decline to elaborate.

Human Rights Campaign spokesman Michael Cole-Schwartz, who said that  his group would be attending the session at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, said the fact that the Obama administration was holding an event focused solely on bisexuals underscored its grasp of LGBT Americans.

They might want to rephrase that last part.

“President Obama and this administration have made clear their commitment to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues, and this event is further proof of their understanding of the needs of our community,” he said.

If that’s true, than it must mean ‘lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders’ don’t need jobs.

The goverment is out to the moon if this is their priority. Never mind that the fuse of the bomb that is the middle east seems to be growning shorter every day. Or that the country is in a swirling pattern down the drain if we don’t pull things out the cesspool we have found ourselves in. Instead of worrying about the economy, we get told that the new unemployment rate is the “new normal” regardless that the rate is one very larged cooked number but when Bush was president the media screamed over a much smaller number and insisted that almost the entire country was unemployed. One would think that since bisexuals fall under straight and gay for health issues then shouldn’t the whole reaching out to the gay community have covered them already?
