I wonder if Joe the plumber will get an imputed tax bill for all of the advertising he has recieved the past couple of days?

I wonder if budget cuts will cause us to lay off some members of the Congress and the Senate?

I wonder if Obama knows how to make a pipe out of brass fittings and screen?

Before the local chapter of the NAACP brands him as a racist?

I will be surprised if Joe comes out of this with his current business intact after the libs finish with him.

Already I suspect OSHA inspectors are planning to visit him and have little talks with all of his employees…

Besides, the guy has been a wealthy senator for so long he has no idea what’s it’s like being poor and struggling. Yes, I know $250,000 a year isn’t “all that much,” as wealth goes, but then…………..wait a minute, old Joe himself is below the income tax smackdown threshold. Hmmmmm, maybe he put that limit in so his own self would be safe, waddya bet?

In the last days leading up to an election, liberals reveal their true colours.
It will get much worse from this point on.

As a manufacturer/owner, I have to say I am one and here’s how:

Both my wife & I work for the company I own. Our combined salary is $200,000.

In order to make that salary, get this, the company needs to generate $4,500.00 annual.

The 5 mil goes towards $1,400,000 in overhead & wages for 9 office staff including my wife

Materials cost $1,500,000 (yes almost exclusively American)

Labor – union labor (about 18 guys) is about another million – I unionized the shop myself in a niaive commitment to the men but that’s another story.

The rest is workmans comp., FICA, health & union benefits. We can’t afford to fund the 401K.

SO HERE’S THE CATCH. Suppose we have a good year – like last where we sold close to 5 million. Well I’m glad you asked Barry!

After expenses, the net turned out to be another $160,000 – so you’re thinkin’ Hey RB! You can afford to pay the extra taxes. No way! Here’s why.

The hundred sixty K went to – another 100K in inventory, 25K in debt pay down and the balance in our customers’ past due balance outstanding, which is anywhere between 250K – 500K. See, just cause a company doesn’t collect, doesn’t mean the IRS doesn’t want the tax. We even have to pay the sales taxes and hope we get paid from the customers.

So, what does a guy like Joe the Plumber and me do, we actually have to borrow money to pay the taxes. Isn’t that the final insult!?

So next time someone says “I have a small business with about 30 employees. What am I going to do next year if Obama increases our taxes?” You can say with confidence, “layoffs, downsize and/or go out of business.”

THIS IS SO SIMPLE!! I didn’t go to college, but even I understand it because I live it. It seems there are two types of politicians. Either they are ignorant to these facts of life and can’t help it, or they do and don’t care while they lie to the voters about how they’re going to fix things. They can’t fix anything, they just get in the way of those of us who can.

If Joe the Plumber runs for President, I’ll not only vote for him, I’d be honored to be his running mate.
