WI Teacher Threatened For Walker Support

From the Milwaukee ABC affiliate, WISN:

Kenosha Teacher Receives Threats Over Walker Ad Involvement

Kristi LaCroix Reveals Threats Received Since Ad Launched Around Thanksgiving

December 6, 2011

KENOSHA, Wis. — A Kenosha teacher featured in an ad for Gov. Scott Walker said Monday that she’s not sure if she’d do it again.

In her first interview with WISN 12 News, Kristi LaCroix, a teacher at Lakeview Technology Academy in the Kenosha School District, revealed the threats she has received since the ad was launched just before Thanksgiving.

LaCroix spoke only to 12 News reporter Nick Bohr on Monday and told him she’s concerned about others following in her footsteps.

She said she has attended several pro-Walker events in the months since the collective bargaining debate started in Madison, but she said she was unprepared for the onslaught of negativity directed at her since her "Friends of Walker" ad hit the air.

Wisconsin’s teachers have been one of the loudest and most organized groups opposing Walker’s collective bargaining law since he first proposed the changes in February. The ad for Walker’s bid to fight off a recall attempt uses the Kenosha teacher who supports him.

"At this point, in my opinion, and I’m speaking from the (heart), it feels a little like sour grapes," said the ad. "It’s ‘Oh, we didn’t get our way and so we want to change the outcome.’"

LaCroix said she’s having second thoughts about appearing in the ad.

"I just want all of this to go away," she said.

She told 12 News that she has been blistered by negative and vicious emails and phone messages at school and on Facebook, including one suggesting she get protection.

"You are alone in the wilderness," one person wrote to her in an email. "Your best bet is to start a job search soon. Better hope the unemployment gets extended. Enjoy your isolation."

LaCroix said she has been told there’s another teacher appearing in the next ad for Walker. She said after her experience, she has concerns for that teacher

According to other reports, Ms. LaCroix says there is an online movement called ‘Fire Kristi.’ Which she says is trying to destroy her reputation and her life.

And here we thought Democrats were against bullying in the schools?

TERRORISM. I am disgusted when Americans are charged with this, as the law was intended for non-Americans, but this IS terrorism.

There are laws on the books to get people who harass this woman. I am sorry she didn’t have a private investigator track down people who made phone calls, or email threats to her.

UPDATE: Wisconsin Woman Charged For Threats To State Senators
    NBC15.com: http://www.nbc15.com/home/headlines/Wisconsin_Woman_Charged_For_Threats_To_State_Senators.html

A court commissioner entered the pleas for her to two misdemeanor counts of making threats over a computer. She has also been charged with two felony counts of making bomb threats.

These people just can’t help themselves, they hate individual and Constitutional freedom, but this guy and many others warned us of this: http://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Mind-Psychological-Political-Madness/dp/097795630X

The commissioner set a signature bond on the condition that Windels doesn’t use the Internet for anything other than work or school and doesn’t visit the Capitol.

Any Republican would have been sitting in jail until trial. And NEWT GINGRICH IS TOTALLY RIGHT about the courts, I would, no-question, vote for this guy just on this lone philosophy, and SURPRISE-SURPRISE, lawyers don’t want their power structure challenged: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/12/15/former-bush-attorneys-general-call-gingrich-position-on-courts-dangerous/

Democrats and lawyers: two competing for the most corrupt institution in American history.

She was merely supporting an idea, or her belief. Now, the lawless want to rule.

Bogus headlines when WISN couldn’t come up with 1 threat. Someone just predicted she would feel isolation which apparently teacher pretends to feel.
