I thought he wasn't going to govern by polls, but so far he hasn't made a move with the transition without first calculating how each move will be perceived.

While I think he should not be underestimated, I'm equally convinced he's not all that smart.

Heck when I was reading this blog last night there was an ad asking you to vote on "Do you think Obama is a good President?" Umm, last time I checked it's still December isn't it? These blind followers of the black messiah are truly insane.

Guess the hard-hitting WP reporters missed the news about Christmas consumer sales.

"Christmas retail sales among worst in years"
http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/132555

"The holiday shopping season is getting off to a rocky start as many retailers this morning posted dismal sales figures for November"
http://www.sanfranciscosentinel.com/?p=17807

but the really amazing thing is the LACK OF stories about Christmas retail sales. One would have thought that the mere prospect of Obamy in office would have filled the stores with happy consumers eager to spend next years 700B in incentives.

Maybe consumers are waiting until Jan 21, so Bush doesn't get the credit for the boffo sales figures.

Hmmmm.

Then just how do they explain the 40-50% increase in gun and ammo sales since The One was elected?

Maybe they should expand their polls beyond the NYT editorial offices.
